We had to change our travel dates, meaning I had to cancel Hoop ressies I made over a year ago.

If I try to reschedule Hoop for our new travel dates (mid-Aug.), would our seating be bad?

I heard that you are assigned seats according to when you make your reservation. However, when I canceled our original reservation today, the cast member said that seats aren't assigned until the last minute (?). Does anyone know how seats are assigned at Hoop? :confused3

Also, the reason for us delaying the trip was that I needed surgery. If we did get into Hoop, I'd need a lowfat dinner because I'm on a restricted diet. Would there be any problems with getting a lowfat meal at Hoop? I would LOVE the chicken and ribs, but I'm not supposed to eat fatty foods for a while.

Thank you!

Last time we went to HDD, when we picked up our tickets from Guest Services, she asked me where we wanted to sit. We said (jokingly) "Front and Center" -- she said ok! :earseek:

When we got to the show, sure enough, we were front & center!!

I've heard both ways...some people say seats are assigned when you make the reservation and others (including me) say they are assigned when you pick up the tickets from Guest Services when you check into your resort.

I called in May to get tickets for early June. I just knew we would be at the back or possibly upstairs. When we arrived, we were sitting right beside the piano at the stage. Really COOL seats!!!! The kids really enjoyed being that close to all the action!!!!!!!!!!!I didn't even try to request good seats or anything!!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

the last 2 times i ate there they told us to book our reservations because it sells out fast and it sells out even faster in the summertime. you should definatly call and ask them about how the seating works because i don't really know either. i think it's when you book it tho because the first time i went we booked a little later and we were still on the floor but further back(both times we went in the winter) and the second time we booked earlier and we were front and center.

as for the food it's basically just the chicken and the ribs i really don't think they have any select dinners for anyone with a low fat diet which kinda stinks. definatly call and ask both questions.

Thank you for all of the replies.

For as much as we'd love to do Hoop, we've decided to not make a new reservation. That frees up a whole evening for us to relax mid-trip.
