Hoop Dee Doo

The show has been running for decades. If this were a problem, it would have reared its head by now. But those of us that enjoy more than one are grateful for your concern, apostolic4life.

No need for the veiled sarcasm..........my kids are my concern, and the behavior in EPCOT some evenings can be extremely harsh due to drunks so I believe my concern is valid.......I have never been to HDDR and just wondered about it.....sorry you seem to have taken it so personally. Oh yeah, and EPCOT has been open for decades too, but the problem still exists there without too much being done to curb it. I wasn't calling for a ban of alcohol or sarcastic disapproval of my question; I was asking for personal experiences of people who may have encountered a drunk and how it was handled so I could make a decision for my family (and only my family).

DH and I do not drink. Do not have any issue with those who choose to, we just choose not to. We are quite sensitive to what our children are exposed to and had no issue at HDDR. I really think you have nothing to worry about.

Thank you, that is the type of reply I was looking for......it seemed like something that would be fun for the family, but was unsure when the alcohol thing was mentioned.

Again, Thanks!

.....if you have ever been in World Showcase at EPCOT after dinner, you may have noticed the occasional offensive drunk walking around who obviously does not share our idea of limits or appropriate conduct around children.....at WS they have to pay for every drink, so if those people were at HDDR it could get ugly when the alcohol is free flowing. Like I said someone having a drink (or even two) with their meal does not bother me, but the thing I would be concerned with are the ones who may see the "all you care to drink" as a challenge rather than a courtesy. Most people do usually show a level of control in such instances, but it's the occasional oddball that could ruin everyone's experience for the evening and possibly cause some liability issues for WDW.]

Hi, Ive been once and everyone had a great time ...no one was out of line. and if they were ...they were quietly remeved so that I didnt notice.

For those with young children I suggest the earlier shows or more specifically the kids should be well rested ...not a good plan right after a long day at the park without some good downtime first. The Kids will have a blast playin there washboards.
