How would you get back using Disney transport after the 4:00p show ends? We're curious about both the shortest and funnest routes.

Anything you would do on the way back?

Assuming that the MK is open after the show is over, I would take the boat back to the MK and the bus back to Kidani,

Just take the bus directly from HDD to your hotel. They have special busses there after the HDD show is over.

not sure resort buses run after early show, another one for boat over to MK and bus from there. might even be faster than waiting for bus and stopping at other resorts before yours.

No buses that early guys. So...just take the boat back to MK, then go wherever you want. Bus to Kidani, or anywhere else.
