Hoop Dee Doo Revue or Bon Voyage breakfast?

I've heard such wonderful things about Hoop Dee Doo Revue but since it takes two credits from our dining plan it would mean bumping the Bon Voyage breakfast plus an extra $40-50 for an OOP QS meal on another day. Is it worth it? Also, just to confirm I can only book category 2 or 3 seats with the dining plan? Thank you!

HDDR is always worth the price.

I would absolutely do HDDR over the Bon Voyage Breakfast. While a character meal is fun (and even better if the food is good) HDDR is a whole fun "experience".

The only reason in this situation to keep bon voyage would be if someone wants to meet Eric or Flynn.

It's a matter of personal preference, and difficult for us to know what the OP would prefer. I wasn't crazy about HDDR, so I'd try the Bon Voyage breakfast for something new and different.

DD15 really enjoyed the Bon Voyage bkfast, but HDD is a must-do for every trip, even if we have to pay OOP.

I've never done Hoop Dee Doo, but I have done the Backyard BBQ and the Luau. While I really enjoy the Disney Dinner shows, I don't think they are a great use of the dining plan since they use 2 table service credits. Especially since the tip is included with the dinner shows. If you think you will eat all your meals, I would personally pay OOP for the dinner show even with the meal plan.
