Central Florida. Grey and wet. Very, very wet. Upper 70s/Low 80s.
Many folks leave Yuma to participate in the Great weather Florida has to offer ....huhCentral Florida. Grey and wet. Very, very wet. Upper 70s/Low 80s.
I am dreading our first frost. Right now my summer impatiens are going like gangbusters and as soon as that first frost comes ... they will all be gone. Most of my harvestable garden is in, took the last of the squash yesterday.contrary to what was projected by the weather folks locally AND reported this morning as 'overnight lows in the low 40's and high 30's' we had our first freeze of the season. THANKFULLY we had harvested the last of the veggies yesterday b/c those plants are gooooooooone. I feel bad for the many veggie gardens at homes near us-i can't imagine the amount of beautiful produce they lost![]()

You're making me more homesick than ever! Even though it's been over 30 years since I've lived in MA, I still consider it my home. And September and October were always my favorite months. Here in MA we're having better weather in September and October than we did in August!! Wish I kept the pool open.
