How’s your weather this fall?

Eastern Shore of MD here. Warm, although the humidity is waning which is nice. Looking like a long stretch of 60's & 70's coming up starting later this week so that will be welcome. I'm ready for a little crisp & cool weather.
Got our firewood delivered & stacked, just not chilly enough yet for our evening fires, much to the dogs disappointment!

Our weather in NW Indiana has been AWESOME!!! :cool1:
Very summer like and I'm loving it!!!
It's also been very dry, which I selfishly love, but I know we need the rain, and tomorrow we may get some.

So far highs have been mainly in the 70’s and lows in the 50’s, with some days reaching the low 80’s and some nights the 40’s. But overall it has been quite dry.

contrary to what was projected by the weather folks locally AND reported this morning as 'overnight lows in the low 40's and high 30's' we had our first freeze of the season. THANKFULLY we had harvested the last of the veggies yesterday b/c those plants are gooooooooone. I feel bad for the many veggie gardens at homes near us-i can't imagine the amount of beautiful produce they lost :(

I am dreading our first frost. Right now my summer impatiens are going like gangbusters and as soon as that first frost comes ... they will all be gone. Most of my harvestable garden is in, took the last of the squash yesterday.

Hot and I'm not too thrilled about it. I usually turn my AC off mid-September, helps w/the electric bill. Not this year! Hopefully I'll be able to turn the AC off tomorrow. Dreading next month's bill.

we had grabbed the last of the zucchini, the red chard and the leeks. leeks are already in the freezer, i'll deal with the rest today. my basil survived so I picked it and will be making cubes today as well.

Here in MA we're having better weather in September and October than we did in August!! Wish I kept the pool open.
You're making me more homesick than ever! Even though it's been over 30 years since I've lived in MA, I still consider it my home. And September and October were always my favorite months.
Way down here in sub-tropical Texas, it's in the upper 80s every day, with lots of humidity. So it "feels like" the low 90s.

Very warm for Michigan. Some of my neighbors have delayed closing their pools.
