Hello!

I know Disney is good about making food accommodations. Does anyone know what they will do here?

Also, can a party of 6 be seated in the balcony? We'd be ok with 2 tables if needed.

The menu is very simple. What are you looking for?

Yes to both questions;

They will make food accommodations and a party of 6 can be seated in the balcony.

It's still a set menu, isn't it? I'd imagine that might make it more difficult?

Yes but the kitchen for HDDR also does the food for Trails End and they are generally pretty experienced with accommodating allergy needs and things of that sort. They've been doing it for decades. Have any requirements noted on your reservation (phone it in) and as a last resort speak with your server when you are seated.

There are people in our party that can't eat fried food and bbq items. I know, that's the bulk of the meal here. I was hoping they would allow for accommodating with maybe a grilled or baked chicken, burger, or something basic. I guess we'll have to decide on whether to give it a shot or not.

Our DD has some dietary issues, and they have always accomodated her. She has received grilled salmon and veggies on more than one occasion, and without much fuss. The rest of us enjoyed the regular menu offered.

I'm a vegetarian, and am always offered grilled veggies, pasta with marinara sauce, or pasta primavera. I've done it a few times and am always happy with my meal, and they are great at coming out to make sure they ask which of the options I'd like.

My friend cant have pork. The Chef came out and talked with us. He came back with brisket from Trails End. Yummy!!!!!

We have gluten free in our family. She got a yummy grilled chicken and a bunch of sides. I think her meal was the best at the table.

Balcony seating on the sides is one long table (seating is on the both sides of the table, so the railing side needs to turn around from the table to see the show). So, no problem with larger parties going across multiple sections of the table. You just might have a gap between tables to get through to the other side, that could separate your party. But, it's a narrow gap.

We were once a group of 17 in the balcony. I will say I did not like it as they were the chairs that spun around to see the show. We all sat down a long table on one side and it wasn't very condusive to flowing conversation. Pretty much like a game of telephone.

Good to know that even with a set menu, the staff was very accommodating to offer alternatives. Glad so many had good experiences.
