Hoop dee Doo or Polynesian

Questions.
Hoop Dee Doo or Polynesian, which do you prefer, and why?
And how young is too young for either show, traveling w/ extended family, 1 young one, 3 1/2.

The young one might get some of the jokes at Hoop De Do, but I think it'll still be a good time. Nobody in your party should be allergic to corn....because the corny jokes keep flying.

I enjoyed the Hoop De Do, but since most of the reviews I've seen about the Spirit of Aloha were mediocre at best, I'm not going to see it.

I vote for Hoop De Do.

Hoop Dee Doo is fun for all ages. I haven't been there in a while since it is the same show that it was when they opened in the 70's. I have seen it many times, but I still enjoy it every time I go.

OHana at Poly is great. The food is fantastic. We went with our 1 1/2 year old. There are some hula hoop and coconut races that go on during dinner for the children to participate in. Lots of fun for the kids to do and parents to watch. If you time your meal right and ask for a window seat, you can watch the fireworks from MK. They pipe in the music.

We do the HDDR every year with our children. DD is 2 1/2 and has been 3 times, and really enjoyed it this year. DS is 5 and went for the first time at 2 1/2, he has remembered jokes from year to years. I've never done the polynesian show, but my parents, DB and SIL did both shows this past year. They felt the Luau was a waste of money. The show wasn't that great, and the food was OK. They all thought the HDDR was much more entertaining and worth the money.

As Most of the people heher have posted, Hoop De Doo is great if u have children. When i was a kid, I did not understand all of the corny jokes but I do remember lots of music and dancing which was fun for me to watch. I am also a big fan of OHANA. I enjoyed that when I was a little older. But between the two, its like apples or oranges... When in doubt, do them both. Disney style, u cant go wrong.. Good Luck and Enjoy.
