I have the following ADR's made for our upcoming trip. But now I'm considering dropping something and adding HDD. I am excited to try all the restaurants I've booked and am not sure which to drop if I add HDD :confused3

Ohana's
50's Prime Time
Chef Mickey's
Park Fare
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
Spoodle's

I guess it depends on the kind of experience you are looking for. HDDR is fun, the food is 'okay'. We enjoyed it more than we thought we would. Actually going back in Oct.
If I had to drop one of the ADRs you have, it would be Spoodles. It is a nice place to eat, but the entertainment value isn't there, so to speak. If you are looking for good food, without a lot of 'commotion' then stick with Spoodles.

Hoop de doop de DO DO DO!!!

This is one of my fav things I"ve done at Disney. We did it in August 04 and then in March 05 so I'm a little hoop'd out and we won't do it this year but in a year or two we will for sure do it again. I would do it! :bitelip:

We went to HDD last week and we enjoyed it. DS's 4, 7 and 12 laughed and laughed! We were starving so the food tasted good BUT it's nothing great! The service was fabulous! The server kept up with DH's beer intake and I had 4 glasses of wine. (Thank goodness for that Disney bus!)
HDD was one of the main highlights of our trip and we would go back!

Definitely Do Hoop-De-Doo!!!! :thumbsup2 Lots of fun and the food is pretty good..all you can eat and the bonus is "all you can drink!!" After a long, hot day at the parks, it's nice to sit in a cool place, be entertained (albeit, a bit corny, but still funny) and enjoy a nice cold beer or Sangria (or two). I went as a kid a few times, and now my own family has already gone twice and we're doing it again in June. :cool1: The jokes remain the same but it's still a fun night out!

Enjoy!!!

Think of the HDDR as an "event" and not a meal. It is a dinner show with emphasis on SHOW . When/if you go to HDDR, do not think of it as a dining experience but more as entertainment. So, if you feel you would prefer a night of entertainment, the I would say it is a "must do." It's a fun place.

Although i think the food at the Hoop-de-doo is "ok," i would definitely recommend going. The entertainment is excellent. I'm going in July but my main reason for going is to soak up the wilderness theme.

A+ from me!

Hoop-Dee-DO! I can't say enough about how much I like this show. I would drop Spoodles and go HDDing before you could blink!

The HDD is a great show. If you like fried chicken, beans, and corn then you'll like the food they serve. I do, anyway.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is by far the best dinner show in Walt Disney World. The show is funny, entertaining, and the food is spectacular. TIP: We really enjoy doing this on the first night we get there.

I would drop O'hana. There just isn't anything that special about it for me.

add hdd and drop spoodles. the hdd is funnier than expected and is a great experience. the food is good too, but the experience is really what makes it.

actually you might want to drop 50's cause the food choice is kind of the same, down home cookin' ya know? and they are both themed with workers interacting with you and two meals where you cant just sit and relax might be too much!

I'm inclined to agree with Laur*Tink*85. The food is similar and with the Hoop-de-doo, you receive the added benefit of entertainment. Keep spoodles!!
