Just wanted to give a PSA to check your Hoop-Dee-Doo reservations for the next few days.
My Hoop-Dee-Doo reservation for this coming Wed 10/05 was canceled by Disney. I didn't get a cancellation email, I just happened to notice yesterday that it was gone in MDE.
I called to check and the cast member confirmed it was cancelled at 3:00 Saturday. I noticed at around 6:00. She was surprised I didn't get a phone call. I said it's fine they didn't call, but I would have expected an email from the reservation system. It's Sunday morning now and still no email.
She said Ft Wilderness still has no power and I'm guessing they're cleaning up damage. She was also surprised they're cancelling that far out - she heard they're cancelling Mon & Tues, but hadn't heard about Wed.
I set a dining alert in case they're able to open and reservations become available. If not, we'll go on our next trip.
