Has anyone done this?? We have actually never been to Hoop Dee Doo before so I would like some opinions on it. Also, if you've been to the show what time have you gone and do you think the 8:30 time frame is a good idea? We tend to eat dinner on the later end, I figured this would be a good way to round out the evening. TIA!

HDDR is one of my favorite dining experiences in Disney and a must do each trip! It is so much fun and the food is so good... just make sure you are hungry before you go, it is a lot of food! I cannot say enough great things about this dinner show.. The actors are hilarious, the jokes are meant to be corny but it never gets old and they keep us laughing every time we go. We have never done the 8:30 show- if you do tend to eat later, than stick with this show. We always do the 6:15 show.. not too early at 4pm and it is not too late for us.. it is the perfect dinner time for us.

Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there. Not sure if you will have a car or using the buses... We always do a park at rope drop, head back midday to the resort to rest and swim and get ready for dinner and we leave the resort an hour or more before the show time. We always take the bus to MK and the boat to FW. We like to give ourselves more time because the line for the boat can get long and don't want to miss it and have to wait for the next one.

Enjoy HDDR! You won't be disappointed!

HDDR is a must do for our family, we really enjoy it. It is a really fun show and the food is good too. We always do the 8:30 show, section 1.

As long as you are used to eating later, you should be fine. It does take some time, even with a car, to get there, as you'll have to take an internal bus from the parking lot. We've done all seating times, but I do prefer the final show of the evening. I just don't plan a rope drop the next morning. :teacher:

We have done the 8:30 show many times, we like it. This time it will be our final night dinner, can't think of a better way to leave happy.

BTW-they have had busses that will run you back to your resort directly after the late show-we usually use those, but it can be a very long ride!
