Hoop-dee-do for a five year old boy?

We've never seen the show before, so I'm not too sure what to expect, but I was wondering if this show would entertain a 5 year old little boy, or would most of the show/jokes be over his head?

My 5 year old niece and 6 year old nephew LOVED HDDR!!! The jokes are corny and slapstick. The show is fast paced, kid friendly and so is the food!!! Go and have FUN!! It's sing a-long and audience participation fun too.

We took dd when she was 4 and 5 and she loved it both times. She laughed the whole time. Also,if your child doesn't like the regular food they bring, they will bring them kid friendly food - last year dd got chicken nuggets, a hot dog and french fries.

My Grandson was 4 when we took him and he absolutely loved it. He was chosen to go on stage and it was just adorable. My Granddaughter was 6 and she enjoyed it to.
As said, it is fast paced, with corny jokes, singing, dancing and audience participation. He may not get all the jokes but I think he will have fun

He'll be fine. Some of the jokes might go ove his head but it's all good family fun. Just one thing - the show goes on all around you so he'll need to stay in his seat.

Oh - The bathrooms are a bit away from the action so you might want to start in on your husband to take the bathroom duty that night. No sense in your missing anything, right?
