Hi,
It was a while since we went, but from what we remember, food was plentiful, chicken legs etc... It is quite an 'interactive' evening, with plenty of audience participation. I distinctly remember being given a washboard to to make some noise with!!!
DH was cringing a bit (scared stiff of being 'dragged' onto the stage)..... but the kids loved it! I don't think we were in the best frame of mind, as Princess Diana, had died that morning - so we were a bit in shock!
Most people in the audience seemed to be having a great time!
Whether it was worth the money - not sure, certainly DH didn't think so!!
Again, its probably one of those things that you do at least once!!
Not sure about getting AP discount?! Sorry!
Hope this helps a bit!
Tracy

We did it last August and loved it, Don't know what it cost as our cast member friends paid for us, is it around $50 each? that rings a bell.
No AP discount, unless you buy the dining card http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dde.htm that will get you 20% off, not sonmeting we have ever bought.
Dont think there is any bad seats, you can be picked out even if you sit up on the balcony.
Some people dont like it, as tracy says its something you have to try to find out.

We did it last year and loved it, despite the fact that it was late starting and they left us all standing in the rain. There was a torrential downpour that night and not everyone could fit under the small covered area. Anyway, when we all got inside there were a lot of spare tablecloths handed!!! One of the guys in the show, when he came to speak to us during the intro bit, said it looked like a Super Hero convention! We're going again this year, but I think it really depends on your own tastes as to whether you will like it or not. Most people enjoy CRT - we will NOT be returning there, not for love nor money! It's all about personal preferences.

As a side note, I have the receipt from our meal in August '07. Prices do not include tax, and no doubt will increase slightly this year.

Adult = $41.06
Junior = $41.06
Child = $20.94
Infant = $0.00

Altogether for us 3 adults, plus tax, plus gratuity, we would have paid a total of $152.97. Sin:cool1: :thumbsup2 ce we were on the DDP though, it was free, just 2 TS credits!

Its 2 DDP TS credits each. It cost us 8 credits, the bill amounted to $220 for four of us and we didn't like the food. DS aged 11 only ate the bread at the beginning of the meal so the waitress asked if he'd like a hot dog which really made his night! The beans were awful, meat ok, dessert not enough! It food wasn't worth it, the entertainment was fun, the washboards at the end were very loud but great fun to join in with, like others have said I'd recommend doing it but only the once! There are pics on my TR under Anniversary at the YC.

Just shows how people like different food, we loved it, ribs, chicken, beans, the whole meal, every time a bucket emptied another was brought out.

We where there in July 06, our seats where 2 rows back from the stage and in the centre, where very good , but think the seating arrangement has changed, then seats where allocated when booking , now i think they have different tiers for seating.
The food was excellent and plenty of it, and the same with the drinks, we all enjoyed a corny but good family nights entertainment, and DD loved it.
