Hoop de Doo - worth it?

Floor…anywhere…there are 3 prices…up front floor most $$…but I found being in back floor was fine….wouldn't recommend balcony but it does cost less.

Why not the balcony? We thought it would be better than the back of the floor...

The actors and musicians interact primarily with the audience closest to the stage and when I was there they ventured up top only once…I just enjoyed myself a lot and felt my table in the back on the floor was just fine and it saved me some dough…If I knew how to post pictures here I would. We had the last table in the back and it was just perfect as there was no one behind us and it did not feel like I was crowded in…its hit or miss…you wait in a little line outside before the show, check in and they then steer you toward the picture taking tent and then you get in another line by the door and they walk you to your table…its first come first sit depending on your ticket section. Cant say enough about how surprised how much fun it was!

Is it strawberry shortcake? Is it good? And is that all you can eat? If so, my husband and FIL may clean the house out, lol.

It's so good!! I'm not the biggest strawberry shortcake fan and I had at least three servings, all the food was really good.

i ate so much salad, corn bread, beans and beer I couldn't even take a bite of the Strawberry shortcake. It was HUGE!

It is awesome! Honestly one of our favorite things to do at WDW. We will be back this June.

You just need to go into it expecting a corny humor knee-slapping Western show. Reminds me a lot of watching Hee-Haw with my Grandparents as a kid.

The food is good. The salad and cornbread were great. Chicken is very good. Ribs were just OK. The Strawberry Shortcake was fantastic. Loved the all you can drink beer and Sangria.

Previously we sat on the side of the balcony. We could see great but we actually had to turn around in our chair which was not ideal. I would advise getting Tier 1 if you can swing it. That's what we will be doing this June - right in the middle of the action!

FYI - if you are not staying at Fort Wilderness give yourself plenty of time before the show to explore the Fort and plenty of time after the show to get back to your resort.

We're staying off-site at Windsor Hills. So what how much time will we want to allow to get there? What is there to see/do at the Fort?

There's lots to do. its the heart of historic WDW..bike, boat, swim, horseback, canoe, seqway, tri- circle ranch, shop, eat, beach, archery, campfire, etc….

And you don't have to be resort guests to participate?

The pool is huge and nobody cares if you are not a guest…(technically thats a no no..but especially at FT W…nobody cares..) everything else is open to all….your $ is as good as the next person….obviously you have to pay to rent a boat/bike etc…but it cost nothing to stroll around, check out the stables (beautiful animals who work at WDW live there)…..its a beautiful place with lots of spiritual energy of millions of happy memories from families going back 40+ years. You can feel it. Or at least I can. I always rent a bike and explore.
