Making reservations for our first time here. Where would be the best place to sit for us? I have two boys 10 and 7 that I want to be able to experience and SEE the show.

Thanks!

You can SEE the show from any table in the house. The best views for many are in the Cat 1 seats closest to the stage. I got a crick in my neck. We've had excellent views at both Cat 2 and Cat 3 tables.

We were in Cat 2 and beside a pole. We could see, but had to re position for the show. It was our daughters' 7th birthday. They loved it!

We have always been seated in Cat 1 and love it. We like being up front near the stage.
But as others have said, you can see from everywhere and the actors even go up and interact with guests on the balcony.,

As others have said, you'll have a good view from anywhere, provided you don't get stuck near a pillar. We had a blast in Category 3, but if I'd had the money I'd have sprung for Category 1 or 2 for two reasons. First, if you're seated against the railing in the balcony, you have to swivel your seat around to see the show, which means you have to make sure you do all your eating during the breaks. Second, a bit more of the audience participation seems to go on in Cat. 1 and Cat. 2.

Before the last trip, we had always sat in Cat. 1 . We were "budgeting" last trip and decided to try Cat. 3. We actually really loved it and booked it again this time (we are on DDP this time around so had the choice of 2 and 3). We didn't want to risk being in the back of the main floor so opted for side balcony. Two of the cast members came up to our area and interacted with us during the show at different times so you aren't "neglected" anywhere. You do have to swivel your chairs and my mother had a pole near her she had to adjust around, but we had just as good a time as ever! (its a family favorite of ours and we are looking forward to another chance to see it in two weeks!!!)

We've tried all 3 categories. While all of them had good views, our least favourite was category 2 and I doubt we'd book it again. We didn't like being on the ground floor off to the side and I don't think I'd want to be at a table ground floor in the back. I'd be fine with being upstairs at one of the back tables but I wouldn't want to take a chance of getting one of the tables we're not as fond of. Category 1 had a great view and we were literally up at the stage which was fun. In category 3, we had an amazing view as you can see really well when you're high up and there are no obstructions when sitting in that category. For us, I'll let whether we're paying OOP or using a dining plan decide which we do going forward. When paying OOP we'll choose category 1 but when paying with dining plan credits we'll choose category 3.
