HI there! I've looked online and searched these forums but have been unable to find an answer to this question.

Is the water taxi currently running from Contemporary to Ft. Wilderness for Hoop De Doo?

Yes, it starts running at 3PM daily, making the circuit that includes CR, FW, and WL (not necessarily in that order!).

And runs until about 10:30pm I believe. Look for the blue flags at the docks to find the queue.

Just be aware that if there is bad weather both the boat and monorail (to MK then a bus) will be stopped so you need to have a backup in mind to get there. Happened to me and I had no backup, luckily the storm passed quickly.

I was just coming on to the say the same thing. And I think there's different levels of "closure". We were at the CR in July and needing to get to HDD. Approaching storm and they shut down the small boats, but monorail & larger boats were still open. We ended up taking the monorail to MK, then got on one of the larger boats to go to HDD.

If that didn't work, we could have walked to MK busses and then bussed to FW, then internal bus to campground.
