Hoop De Doo Review!

I made a reservation for the hoop dee doo review for August based on all the great reviews I have read about the show and food. There has been many threads regarding this show and it always gets rave reviews...unlike so many Disney restaurants that get mixed reviews....one person loves it one person hates it then one person kind of liked it..this show gets consistant positive reviews! ;)

Went to Hoop De Doo last year. I wasn't planning to go when I arrived at WDW, but after hearing a guy in a ride queue rave about it, I made reservations. They were actually out of tables when we asked our concierge, but she kept talking to them, and suddenly they had a table for two on Tier 1 (first floor)! When we arrived, the table had been set up just next to the piano right by the stage. It was not a normal place for the table. But we had so much fun being so close to all the action ... we felt like we were a part of the show (as if you don't anywhere you sit!?)
In fact, I had such a great time, it was the first reservation I made for this year's trip!

We went on our first two trips to WDW many years ago. I would love to go back but DH is not interested. If you want to go you need to call for ADRs NOW! May is less than three months away. If you do call and are able to get ADRs would you post and let us know.

I just called on Thursday (2/29) for May 17th and got tier 1 seats at the 5:00 show. They also had them at the 7:15 show and I didn't both with the 9:30 because that is too late for my three year old. There are definitely seats available!

Show -- silly and corny, but okay
Food -- poor

We did the HDDR for the very first time on our last trip in October '07. I too couldn't believe I had not tried it til then. I LOVED it!! It was very organized, I thought the food was some of the best I had eaten all week! I guess I am not a gourmet type of gal ;) I am picky about "tough" meat. The ribs we had were sooo tender and delicious. The dessert was another farvorite for me. I cannot wait to go back :)

It a favorite with our family. I have a DS 19 and a DS21. They love it there. The last time we were there they were 17 and 19 and they love it there. Alot of number of college kids go there for spring break. Somehow they feel depspite how old they are it is allowable to be a kid again while at Disney.

Hi everyone,
I read on the DDP you can only get tier 2 or 3 seating (if using your DDP credits for the 1st and 2nd shows, which we plan to do). We have some younger kids and dinner at the 9:30pm show with tier one seating won't work for us.
Can anyone tell me if tier 2 and 3 seating is ok?

From what I understand (and what they told me).
I used my Dining Points for the 9:30 show..and you can only use them for Tier 2 or 3. You have to pay for Tier 1, but I'm almost certain I read something contradiciting that, but that's what the lady told me. We took the 930 show since we have no kids.

I did read in the 2008 ddp brochure you can use them for tier 1, but only the 9:30 show. I've read one other place the seating is good in tier 2 and 3, but hoping for more info in this thread. Thanks!
