Hoop De Doo Question

We did Hoop Dee Doo on the dining plan back this past June.

In the Dis Dining Area, under the list of DDP restaurants, I noticed this:

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (tiers 2 & 3 only)

What the heck is "tiers 2 & 3 only"? Did something change? Does this refer to where you sit? Back in June on the DDP we used our credits and sat right in the front, right next to the stage.

Yes they changed it in 2007. If you use your credits for HDD, you will only be seated in Tier 2 or 3 and there saving the good seats for those who are paying OOP I'm using credits myself. Here's a seating chart to help you:

I was told no by disney dining but I'm still going to ask when we check in at HDD.

We had a great time at Hoop Dee Doo on our last trip. Sitting up by the stage was a blast!

I am surprised I really don't see any other threads about this change in the DDP. I would have thought that others would be upset by this change. I know I am.

Now if we want to sit near the stage it will cost us about $300 OOP for our family. I just can't justify getting the DDP (which we love) and paying that much OOP for this show.

I guess we will just have to skip it on our next trip.

Our first time we sat in the back, last table actually, it had bar stools. It was great..no problem seeing or hearing anything. The place is not all that big. The 2nd time we sat up front, and it was great too, but given the choice of not going b/c of the new seating rule, I still wouldn't miss it! I'd use credits and go!
