I am traveling solo to WDW this spring. I would love to do the Hoop de doo review which I have never done. I am trying to convince a friend to go with me this time. I understand that the food is served family style. Is it possible to order for one or two persons separately? thanks. Gail

you will seat at a family table with other people.

I think the tables seat 6 or 8?

It's served family style and everybody pays the same price. You do have the possibility of being seated at a large table with another group, especially if your one or two will round out that group and fill that table.

I did HDDR solo a couple of years ago. I was seated alone at a table for two, in the front row just to the left of the stage. It was a great view and I had great service. They do serve family style, I think they served me what they'd usually serve for a party of two, I certainly couldn't eat all of it! While the food and entertainment were good...I can't rave about it like some do...glad I had the experience but once was enough for me :confused3

If I remember correctly, DH & I had a table to ourselves up in the balcony for the HDDR. (I think I would have remembered if we didn't :teeth: )

They definitely have tables for two - DH and I went on our last two trips and were seated upstairs on the balcony.

I am so glad to hear they have tables for two. Maybe me and my DF will try it after all.

My wife and I got this little table last year and it was just the two of us as the table only handles 2.

In the early 90's I went with my EX-wife and we got a larger table off for just the two of us but the place was not near full.

There are at least three tables for two. One is down front, center. The other two are off to the left and right of the stage. The one on the right is just behind the piano. And of course, there is the balcony.

You can't order for just one if you are a party of two, because everyone pays their $50 to get in and they bring you food for the amount in your party. You can get more of everything except the Strawberry Shortcake.

I don't know if I'd do a dinner show alone. I don't think I'm self-confident enough for that. :(

But, more power to you if you can! :goodvibes

That's where my nephew and I sat in July '04. Made our ressies just 3 mos before our trip, so I was surprised to see where our seats were located.

Cheers!

Just because I am such a nice person...I will volunteer my company to dine with you.....dang another trip to the World! :moped:
