If I understand correctly the dining plan get you in the balcony right?

Other posters have said the closer you are to the stage the better.

In your opinions is it worth the 2 TS credits for the balcony or would you have rather been closer to the action and had 2 more fine dining experiences at Disney? Looks like for our family of 5 it will cost $200+ for Tier one seating.

Do you do the HDDR at the start or end of the vacation? I am starting with Chef Mickeys and want to finish with HDDR.

No matter where you sit in Pioneer Hall, there is always a wonderful view. I have never sat upstairs but have been in the front and in the back. If you really want to do this show, I would not let a balcony seat stop you. You will get the full enjoyment of the show, just like the people up front.

There is no "rhyme or reason" as to when to see the show. The first time we did it, my DD and the other kids in the party wanted to go back and do it again, but we didn't have time.

Now, I just make sure that I do it on the day that I am at the Magic Kingdom because it is just a quick boat ride over from there (much better than taking the bus).

Thanks about the MK advice, everyone says it's a pain to get there, that will make it easier.
