Honeymooning in DL!!!

We're going to Disneyland on our honeymoon (in August '06) and I have a few questions.

1) Is it better to fly into John Wayne Airport as opposed to LAX?

2) Are the pools at the Grand Californian heated? Do they have certain hours or can you use them all night like in WDW? Do they shut off the jacuzzi at 10pm? (they did this to us last year when we went to DL and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel)...

John Wayne airport is so much closer smaller and easier to get to. We flew into LAX because it was $400 cheaper for our family. That would be the only reason I would fly into LAX again. It was okay but the freeways down there are not marked very well and we kept having to backtrack to get to the right freeway. Plus it took us about 45min- 1 hour from DL and SNA is only about 20 min. My borther flew in there the last time we went.
