Ok well I am getting married in January it looks like, probably January 6th. I already have a room only reservation at wilderness lodge for the 6th through 16th, but will probably change that to 7th-17th!

First question I have is, small world vacations told me that standard view is sold out, so I have the woods view. Is the woods view worth the extra dough, or should I call again and again till I get the standard view? Also what does everyone think of Wilderness lodge?

I am currently waitng for AP rates and packages to come out so I can compare cost savings with both options.

Another question I have is can I stack AP and AAA savings?

I also would GREATLY appreciate any other money saving advice anyone has, like should I get the premio AP or just standard AP? Whats the common wisdom around here on the issue.

Also are dining plans really a good deal? Thanks for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woods view being worth it depends on what you are looking for in a room. If you get the right woods view you can watch the fireworks form MK from your balcony and possibly even see the castle and monorail. We personally stayed in a standard view on our honeymoon and were fine (at the wl also). A lot of time if they know it is your honeymoon at check in they will upgrade you for free to a better view at check in, especially if you are there at slower times of the year.

You cannot stack the AAA and AP savings. One or the other unfortunately but AP has allways a lot better. In 2005 we stayed at the WL in January for 129 per night with AP.

I am not sure that I would get the premium annual pass in January since the water parks will either be in refurbishment or way too cold (IMO). As long as you can park hop that is all you need.

Finally as far as the dining plan that is also personal preference. It can be a LOT of food but can also save money. Of course if you go the AP route you won't be eligible for the dining plan but you can get the Disney Dining Experience as a AP holder which will save you 20% on most restaurants.

Yeah I am looking into the Disney dining experiance since I can't do dining plan. I also don't like the idea that the dining plan is only avalble at certain places, or at least thats what I've heard. I just would rather not think about where I eat that much! Now with DDE I can use it when I can and plan on using it for some good meals.
