Day 6 Thursday the 4th of November: Magic kingdom and the 2nd meeting.
Early start again to get the early shuttle. 7:20am alarm goes off. Leisurely get ready and have some left over pizza for breakfast. Its not half bad cold.
Shuttle got us there and we got to the transportation centre and elected to take the more relaxing boat as it was such a nice day. We arrive on the other side to see . SWARMS of people. Obviously we picked a bad day to come. The place is crowded with tons and tons of people. Determined to carry on we head into the park and take a few snaps along the way. Stopping to admire the castle and the various sections we travel through. First up was the haunted mansion. Always loved this ride. Sure its old and cheesy but its well done.
Then we wandered on through and did thunder and splash mountain. By this point the crowds had got even worse making it a struggle to just walk somewhere within the park. However thunder and splash mountain really cheered us up as they are great rides. We then did the jungle cruise where we had a great guide who made us laugh a ton. By this point it was mid day so we headed to splash mountain to meet Aruna. BIG mistake. The crowds here were HUGE. The line on many occasions snaking out past the entrance. 20 minutes later though Aruna wanders over and were on our way. After a quick chat we decide that staying here all day with these crowds would be torture. So we decide to do 2 more key rides and then go over to mgm. We grab fast passes for space mountain and then plow into the line for phillamonic. Which was very good and very funny. Oh and as a surprise Aruna had got me a cute eeyore pin badge. Hes so sweet. Im going to find a lil scarf for my eeyore so he can wear the badge when im not at Disney.
Then we do space mountain which is an old classic but seemed a lot slower this time round. Then we caught a bus over to MGM and went crazy. Basically we just rode RnR and ToT over and over and over lol. Huge amounts of fun.
At 7pm we caught the boat over to epcot which took a while but was very light on our feet lol.
Then once in epcot we wandered over to china and had an amazing Chinese meal from the little café type place there. Was only $6-7 a dish but the quantity and quality was great. From there we then walked around the lake till we ended up close to the golf ball, stopping in various stores along the way, and sat down to watch the fire works(2nd time so far).
Then when all that was done we went outside to prepare to leave the park. We said a sad farewell to Aruna as we wouldnt get a chance to see her again before she went home Sunday. And we gave her a stitch pin badge Id sneakily bought for her earlier in the evening.
We then caught the shuttle back to our room and watched tv before falling asleep.
