The only mirrors I have now are the ones in the bathrooms. Growing up, we only had hand mirrors to use for personal care. We had no mirrors on the walls in any room.
17. Six of them are on the doors of the closets in the bedrooms that we put in when we remodeled 12 years ago. Five of them are in the bathrooms including the mirrored door on the medicine cabinets.
I have no decorative mirrors. There are mirrors in both full baths and the powder room. Plus one attached to my bedroom dresser. In the walk-in closet/dressing room is a free standing cheval mirror. Two or three hand mirrors in drawers. Oh, and younger DD’s former bedroom has a wall mirror.
In the late 70s/early 80s my aunt had her living room wall completely covered with mirrors. I didn’t like it but at the time it was considered swanky and fashionable in some circles.
7. We have 3 full bathrooms and 2 half baths, all with mirrors above the sinks. We have a little lighted mirror on a stand on the counter in the main bath that hubby uses to shave. We have a full length mirror on the back of the door in the main closet that I used to use when I worked, we need to take that one down and give it to Goodwill.
