We have read in several places about Disney Honeymoon photo shoots around a park of your choice. Has anyone ever done this? What was the cost? How was the service and quality of the photographs?

We are thinking of doing this, but are unsure since there seems to be limited information avaliable about this service, at least that we have experienced.

Thanks in advance

My honeymoon shoot is in the pics post at the top. Last year it cost $295.00 for 20 pics in a disney alblum. We traded our wedding photography in and for an additional $50 got the honeymoon shoot. Randy Chapman did our wedding photos. You can not wear you wedding attire for the HM session.

Thanks alot for the info.

Do you need to get married at WDW to get the honeymoon photo shoot? We are getting married here in Chicago but I'd love to have some photographs taken while on the honeymoon.

Who do we contact to set it up?

You can contact Randy Chapman directly. He can photograph you around Disney Resorts but not in the parks.

You do not need to be married at Disney to do the honeymoon shoot, even the in-park one (which can only be done through Disney). You DO need to be married at Disney to do the wedding in-park shoot in your wedding clothes.

About the 20 pictures, do they only take 20 pictures, or would we get to pick our favorite 20 out of the ones they took or do they choose?

Also I noticed many of the pictures are taken with characters? Would we have any choice in where in the park we wanted the photos, like if we wanted to focus more on Cinderella's castle rather than characters?

Also, what size are the pictures?

Any other reviews on the quality?

Thanks!

I am getting this done myself and they choose the pics for you from what I understand. also, it is not guaranteed that you will get pictures with characters. It first of all depends on if any characters are around, also I have heard that sometimes it depends on your photographer. Some will allow it, while others you have to keep asking them.

Glad to see we weren't the only ones with questions/concerns about this. Thanks to everyone for their input and additional questions, its is helping us tremendously, hope it is doing the same for you all. :wave2:

Have a magical day
