I'm so stuck on how to plan our honeymoon itinerary at WDW after our wedding. It isn't really a honeymoon because we will have both sets of parents, our siblings, and possibly some other family with us before our honeymoon cruise but I'm thinking maybe you all would have some advice since many of your families have stuck around after your weddings...I'm having trouble balancing relaxing/ pool time, park touring, and dining. We will be at WDW staying at AKL for 6 nights with family and 1 night at the GF alone and my current plan is below... I just feel like we might not get as much done as we want to but I want to keep it relaxing for our group? Any suggestions?

  • Arrive at AKL around noon or 1:00pm
  • Animal Kingdom while room isn't ready with family
  • FP+ Kali River Rapids 1:00, Expedition Everest 2:00, Safari 4:00
  • Lunch at Tusker House 3:00pm
  • Back to AKL to unpack, see room, have club level appetizers

Looks good to me! You've got the day after the wedding off (that's my No. 1 recommendation) and plenty of flexibility built into the other days. If you want to relax, you're going to have to be OK with not getting "everything done." Or... go full-on at the parks and use the cruise to relax!

It's hard to turn my "gotta get everything done" mindset off! Thanks for your feedback :)
