Hi all! It's exciting read about all of your stories! I am having my honeymoon in Disneyworld...but I have no idea where to start. Help please!!!!

What do you need help with?

My husband and I honeymooned there in 2000 and have been back twice since then, most recently in January with our then almost 3 year old daughter. I've done Disney from so many different perspectives now, it's hard to say which is most enjoyable. They all are I guess!

I am going to honeymoon in WDW in June 2007. I am going to need help deciding where to eat!!!

Congratulations!

When is your honeymoon?

My husband and I had our honeymoon at WDW in December 1995. In 11 days we are going to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (a little late because of Hurricane Katrina).

Let me know what you need help with!

I will tell you that my husband and I took advantage of Disney Photographic services for our honeymoon. We had our pictures taken inside the Magic Kingdom Park (not the formal MK pics because we didn't get married there), but they were fantastic. We have great pics including places that others can't go like on the castle and inside rides. I don't know what they do now, but it's a wonderful thing to have those professional pics from your honeymoon, not just the ones that you and strangers take of you.

Hi there!! Congrats!! I am smack in the middle of obsessively planning my Disney Honeymoon!! Ask away!!!

I have found my 2006 Disney Passporter extremely helpful by the way! I got my at Borders!!! It's a planner/journal/guidebook...has pockets to hold keepsakes, places to write down dinner ressies...lots of pictures and tons of information plus maps to every park and the best ways to navigate each park! All the stores in each area, what they have in them etc, which restaurants are where, reviews, everything you might have a question about it answered in this book!!! Awesome!!! It's been extremely helpful...very colorful and very user friendly!!

This board has been amazing with planning our Disneymoon. I discovered this board a year ago when I was planning our first trip to the world. We also bought the Unofficial Guide but I found that this site had better info.

We decided to rent points from a DVC member again because we loved the Boardwalk. I looked at getting the "honeymoon" package from Disney but figured out how to do it myself, slightly cheaper. We are also going to that "other" orlando area resort for 2 nights of our 6 night stay.

My suggestion (that worked well for us last trip) was to have reservations for dinner every evening. It gave us a focal point of sorts for each day and we planned our reservations around EMH and parades/fireworks and what parks we wanted to hit. We're doing the same thing for our honeymoon ... but a little more low key since this is no longer the "first" trip where we had to see EVERYTHING (and that subsequently landed me in the hospital on day 5-don't worry I was released within 12 hours and all it did was slow us down and we didn't hit Universal!)

Feel free to PM me with any questions!

I am actually going on my disneymoon on June 11th... any ideas for me about romantic spots? Or maybe nice ideas for things to do outside the park?

minniemouse29, i see you are going to poly, plenty of romantic spots. just walking around at night by the lagoon or take a walk anywhere on the grounds. what about going to the GF spa?

There is a great book out by Fodor's. It's called "walt disney world for couples" we bought it for our trip last May and it's great, has information on the good restaurants, and romantic tips, and ideas througout disney!
