Honeymoon at VB

hi,My Dhand Myself are sending my sister and her DH to VB 5-4-5-9 for their honeymoon.has anyone stay in a king Inn room.i called to see where they were going to be and the room controller told me that they had given them a King room instead of 2 queens.he said there were only 2 rooms that had the king beds instead of the queen size beds and they were on the 4th floor.anothere question is the 4th floor the best ocean view rooms or what floor is best?

For their honeymoon, I don't think you could do any better than a room with one king bed and on the 4th floor. I know they would be completely happy in a room with 2 queen beds but I'm sure the king will feel more "honeymoon" like.

The view of the ocean from the 4th floor is awesome.

They should have a wonderful time.

Do you know that you can have a honeymoon ammenity delivered to their room while they are there?

You can call the resort and ask for in-room dining.

I believe they have something called the honeymoon plate or ammenity.

They actually have a whole list of things you can order-choc. covered strawberries, champagne, chocolate shells, cakes, special baskets, etc., etc.

I have the list but no way to scan it or mail it right now. They will fax it to you if you call them 772-234-2000.

I typed up some of the items on the "Vero Beach hidden treasures and secrets" thread. Maybe if you do a search you will see my post.

They were very helpful and I thought the prices were very reasonable. They can have it waiting in the room when you arrive or delivered later.

I think you've given them a wonderful honeymoon! King bed on the 4th floor is just about ideal. It also sounds like the resort is aware of their "honeymoon" status....maybe they'll toss in a few special touches for them also.

Just spoke to my sister and they are having a wonderful time.she said the room was beautiful.they said they did not want to even think about coming home.

We stayed in one of those king bed rooms on the fourth floor (2415) during our visit to VB in January. As noted above, the ocean view is awesome. Room is really comfortable for two people. In addition to the king size bed, there is the usual small dining table with two chairs and dresser/TV stand in one-half of the room. The other half includes a double size sleeper sofa, easy chair, coffee table, and small one-drawer chest. Nice reading lamp by the easy chair (but who cares, on their honeymoon ). The bathroom and kitchenette area are in an alcove by the entrance door, so these are separated from the room itself.

I knew there were two of these rooms on the fourth floor, but had suspected that there might be similar rooms on the third floor as well. From what the room controller said, I guess not. We have requested one of these rooms for our June and January visits, recognizing that this is not guaranteed. It will certainly depend on whether the rooms are being vacated on the days we arrive as well as demand.

yes it makes me feel wonderful knowing i was able to do this for them.otherwise i am sure they would not have been able to go.
Ralph, there room # is 2419 so maybe you could ask for this one.

No picture, but I think I can describe the location. Rooms 2415 and 2419 are on either side of the central "tower" of the Inn at VB. The doorway to 2415 is diagonally across the central atrium from the elevators and the doorway to 2419 is on the same side of the atrium as the elevator but at the oceanside rather than being at the streetside where the elevator and laundry room are located. Even though the doorway would not appear to lead to toward the ocean, you make a left hand turn out of the entry alcove with the kitchenette (in room 2415). I assume you would make a similar right hand turn to get from the alcove to the main part of the room in 2419.
