honeymoon at DLH

so we might get married before we go and so then it will be our honeymoon ...any treats we might get at dlh if we let them know? We can't afford a fancy room but I thought maybe they might do an upgrade or something if we let them know..any thoughts?

I have a little niece who went for her 2 birthday. it was noted it was a birthday, had the button and everything, and my family told me she got NOTHING as far as special during it. They ordered whatever special things to be done for her. I wouldnt count on getting special things unless you order them. We had heard about how they get cupcakes, and such on birthdays and all, but this little girl got nothing, not even a happy birthday from cm but maybe a couple of times. This is what my family told me since I am planning a solo trip over there at the start of next year. If you want special things I would HIGHLY suggest booking them yourself. You can call the hotel, and ask what kind of special things you can arrange, but I would certainly set something up yourself, instead of being dissapointed.

Honestly if you get a room, and let them know. I would do it myself ask to speak to Private dining, and plan to have something sent special to your room. They can tell you what the hotel offers such as honeymoon package, strawberries, cookies, and such. You of course will need to order it, and tell them when you want it in your room. Of course you will have to pay for these things, but if you're looking for some special things done for you during your Honeymoon I would seriously order them myself to ensure at least I knew for sure something special was coming. Like I said even with buttons, dressed in princess garb and everything, she got nothing done from disney. Unless you are ok ordering and paying for it yourself I wouldnt put my hopes into anything else. Just hope for some Pixie dust but do set something up yourself incase all else fails.
