We're going on our Disneymoon Nov 4-9, I have booked these ADRs:

Boatwrights on our first night (we're staying at POFQ so it's a short walk)
Kona Cafe Monday morning before heading to MK (Where we got engaged in March), Liberty Tree for lunch and then Sci Fi for dinner where there's EMH at HS, Tusker House for breakfast Tuesday and for dinner, Le Cellier for lunch Wednesday and Biergarten for a late dinner before Illuminations, Thursday morning is Cinderella's, Plaza for lunch and Cali Grill for dinner to watch Wishes and then lunch at Tutto Italia before we jump back on the Magical Express...

We were looking to do HDD, but I can't get any ADR for the days we're there. Does anyone have any advice on some other restaurants to try on a Disneymoon? My DFi is kind of picky but he's willing to try stuff. He's never done Sci Fi and neither of us have done Le Cellier, Cali Grill, or Tutto Italia so we're excited to try those. I was thinking about Yachtsman's but I'm not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Disney is an awesome place for your honeymoon! My husband and I stayed at POFQ on our honeymoon almost 16 years ago. We will also be staying at POFQ this Fall (Oct.30-Nov.7) with the kids. We really like 'Ohana and Crystal Palace (we loved both the breakfast and dinner). We also really liked Teppan Edo and Chefs de France in Epcot. Also, there is a boat that will take you from POFQ to Downtown Disney which has some awesome restaurants (the kids love T-REX) and shops. We were not able to book Hoop Dee Doo Revue either. There is a rumor that it is going to be closed for a refurbishment during this time so it is not taking any reservations.

I recommend Artist Point at WL and Flying Fish at Boardwalk. My DH and I did those on our honeymoon, 2nd anniversary trip and will be going again on our 10th anniversary trrip this summer.

I did hear that they were closed for a refurb, though the cast member I spoke to did not confirm that. I think we're doing Crystal Palace but with it just being the two of us without our kids, I don't want to do a bunch of character meals because it feels weird to me. I do want to get one of those matte frames for pictures and have all of the characters sign it and put a wedding picture in it. :) I've never tried Chefs de France, it's something I've considered though. We love POFQ, I've been staying there since I was in middle school. Thanks for the advice!

Are there any particular entree choices you would suggest? We both like steak and fish...but I'm not sure what the best choices are.

Couple of suggestions... Is there any specific reason why you're doing Tusker House twice in the same day? I would do breakfast there and then pick a DTD or resort restaurant for dinner after AK closes (maybe Jiko at AKL, 'Ohana at Poly, or you mentioned Yachtsman Grill).

I wouldn't make the Biergarten ADR for too late or you might miss Illuminations. We're doing Via Napoli at 6:30 so we have time to grab a couple of Food and Wine Festival desserts to enjoy during Illuminations. I just want to make sure you guys have enough time to enjoy dinner and still get a gorgeous vantage point for the show. :goodvibes

Congrats on the wedding!

My DH2Be LOVES Tusker for dinner. We actually changed what we're doing on that day and decided on The Wave, Tusker, and then Narcoossee's. But I'm still trying to decide between Yachtsman's and Narcoossee's. Any advice on that? Our Biergarten ressie is for 8...I'm not really into the fireworks, I ball and sob like a baby, which goes back to August '05 when I let a balloon go for a friend of mine who had died exactly a month before. I can't watch Wishes either because one wish I have will never come true and it's just hard for me. Anyway...enough with my sob story :sad2: I am planning on doing Cali Grill our last night and watching Wishes there...hopefully I don't start crying hysterically!! :confused3
