Honey, I Shrunk the Checkbook, Really final, some Feb shots, 7-27, pg82.

Short Hijack:
I usually DIS on my laptop, in the recliner. That way I can DIS, drink a beverage, watch TV all at the same time. What can I say, it's a new Millennium? Thou shalt multi-task!

Pardon me while I answer my cell phone and answer this IM as well... need to refresh this drink too. Maybe I should install a mini-fridge (bolted to the floor of course) next to the recliner, then I could stay here all evening (less bathroom breaks)?

:woohoo:
Steph, my near twin, that's what I do too. Only mine is a lazyboy couch! Only way to go in my book!

Hijack over, back to your regularly scheduled Nebo report!

Nebo, great story yet again! :rotfl2:

One question though (as a hotel employee I have to ask). Did you get billed for the damage done?

[

sighh..... it actually was stuck in a rack type thing that was bolted to the dresser.now how do they expect us to use it that way? It was stuck in there pretty good, and it DID take some doing, but I unstuck it. ( see, the situation DID need perusing after nebo "checked it out":rotfl: ) ps I put it back in when we left so the stalker wouldn't steal it and blame us!

travelodge... what a way to save a few bucks! the other one was just a bit more expensive. we were right across from a trailer park.. I was checking out, maybe we could live there....um... nevermind. the walk to mickeyD's? and the wait for the food? let's just say I was glad Nebo was with me.

(so he could crack a joke and we could make our getaway while they were ROFL; whatdja think I meant?)

philadisney!!!!!! loved the show... are you CUTE! if I had a third son (both mine are married) I'd be playin' cupid right now. (however, I would run back and steal my micky and alice bags out of the trash.. the NERVE of those makeover people!

Fantastic installment Nebo:rotfl2: Have to let my KEYBOARD dry out again :headache: Reminder to self (DO NOT DRINK ANYTHING WHILE PERUSING NEBO'S POSTS):rotfl:

Goofyfan, I'm the same way about drinking anything before bed. That's why I have to wear,,,,, wait, is this microphone on? Testing, testing,.....

For those of you wondering, yes, Diane drives, she just doesn't drive on expressways or highways. She's a good driver otherwise, so I never push that issue. [/QUOTE

My younger sister Jaime will drive if I need to close my eyes for a while, but 99.9% of the time I do 100% of the driving. It's a good thing I like to drive.

Rhonda, I can picture the part about Jaime hardly driving. I picture her sitting right behind the driver with the whip yelling "Faster, faster, you fool, you fool."

Noooooooooooooooooooo! Not the Travelodge in Kissimmee.:scared1: Next time consult me first:sad2:
coming up, D-Day at last!

Janet, it sounds like you have first hand knowledge of the fine resort. Where were you when I needed you?

popcorn::

Now my stomach hurts from laughing so hard!
Be careful there Cheri, you don't want to lose your other gall bladder too!

:rotfl2:
 You should see the names of our kids :scared1:
:rotfl2:

:rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh my God, I laughed so hard when I read this because I would have done EXACTLY the same thing to my DH! It's not that you can't be trusted, it is just such and unbelieveable situation we have to check it out for ourselves :rotfl:Thanks for writing,

Missy in MN

:flower3: Ah, fun with hieroglyphics!

I do love ya Nebo
Do you have any kind of Word Processing Program. Works, Corel, anything..help a girl out here:confused3

Janet, I honestly don't know. I take it nobody is too impressed with my sending my self a pasted email, idea, huh?

:

*ahem*

open whatever "doc" program your computer has, type your reply in "advanced" mode. copy what is in your post and paste it to your doc program, save it "as" something before you hit "post"

*ahem*

:

Colleen! Don't make me come over there! Ok, how would I find this "doc" progream? I don't believe I have Word, but I have named and saved files before, mostly under "my pictures". My whole problem is just when I hit submit on the disboards, sometimes it just doesn't go through. I suppose I could just experiment during a call out session, and see what happens. Ok, next time.

Great post Nebo, LMAO

Told John he had to read it, but couldn't refrain from reading it to him, just too funny!

Lovin it, keep 'em comming.

Sure, you laugh now, but wait until it's time for you to come up to bat!

OMG :rotfl2:

Just think how boring your day would have been with out him :rotfl2:

:

Jo, you're right, he was our comic relief that day, I felt bad leaving without saying goodbye to him.

Ok, I'm trying something here, Shawn and Askelton are the guinea pigs. I'm doing it normal, then trying a save as and reposting it.

Yea, what Colleen said.... not sure I'd even try to email it to myself, should just be able to save it to your computer ("save as") before you try to post it.

p.s. - remind me to not anger Smidgy, I've seen my wife move logs around but I really don't think she'd have it in here to rip off something that was bolted down! But I guess that's why I usually just say "yes ma'am" and move on:angel:

You know, I used to come home from work, and find the entire living room rearranged, that she said she did by herself. THis wouldn't seem so strange, except for the little fact that we have a PIANO! But when it comes to taking the garbage out to the curb,,,,,,,,,,

:lmao:Go Diane!

Diane, how come everybody loves the violent side of you? You been telling them things I should know about?

ok, sending this normal like

ok, gonna see if I can find it now, and paste it in here. uh uh, didn't work, for some reason what I wrote was missing . Maybe I should have highlighted the whole page, guess I'll try again.

Nebo - not sure what version of Windows you are on, but it should be something like this - click your Start Menu (here's where I can't remember if it's different for older versions - if you don't have a Start Menu just ignore the rest...:scared: ), click All Programs, click Accessories, in the list you should see a program called Notepad or Wordpad. This is a word processing program that you can write your stuff in and save it, then copy it and paste it into the message board window. Good luck!! :)

/
I don't know, guess I'm a complete failure. I tried twice, hit the save as button, but when I looked for it, and opened it, evey little icon or smiley had it's own file, the only thing that didn't have it's own file was the text. Guess next time I try, I'll have to try the copy and paste thing into an empty folder somewhere. anyway,,,

Great installment. That is awesome about the microwave. That is something I would do... But I would defintely break something. lol
That worker was a weirdo...

Again with the violent Smidgy. Gonna be a new movie coming out, Samson and Diana!

Ok, this installment was priceless! I'll even forgive the hillbilly reference since the rest was so funny!

Aren't the Bathroom Readers great? My DH got one for Christmas from my aunt, and I keep it in the car to read while waiting for little whogirl to get out of school. Yesterday, one of my friends tapped on the window and said "whatcha readin'?". Now, how do you explain that?:rotfl: "It's so interesting reading about the Pilgrims that I didn't even see you standing there!"

QUOTE]

This reminds me, Marita? Didn't you buy your hubby and son Bathroom Readers? Did they like them?
Thanks whogirl'smom, wouldn't these trip reports make great bathroom reading? At least it would be in the room it belongs in. Hey, if you can find a publisher, I'll split it with you!

Great installment! I
What I want to know is if Smidgy, after ripping the microwave off the bureau, did the whole muscle-man flexing thing. You know, where you bow your shoulders and flex your arm muscles and make some sort of manly grunt noise. Yeah, I can just picture that. :woohoo: Go Smidgy!
Anyhow, great installment! I had to read a bit of it to the DFi and he was laughing along with me.

Maraena, thanks for still reading. But I never saw her yank that thing off the deresser, didn't hear anything either, so I have no idea if she did the flex and grunt thing or whatever.

philadisney!!!!!! loved the show... are you CUTE! if I had a third son (both mine are married) I'd be playin' cupid right now. (however, I would run back and steal my micky and alice bags out of the trash.. the NERVE of those makeover people!

Thanks Diane! I'm glad you were able to catch it - I have been saying that my DIS friends would appreciate it the most and it seems I was right!
I know what you mean about running back and grabbing the purses out of the trash. ;) ;) ;) I REALLY wanted that Alice bag back!

Ok, I just saw that one of my favorite people just posted, and it reminded me.
Tonight is the night that our very own beloved Philadisney becomes famous, she is profiled on the tv show, "WHat not to Wear." From what I know, it's on The Learning Channel at nine tonight, what I'm not sure of is whether it's nine eastern or nine central. So tune in early. I give her a lot of credit for letting us all know this, so please, hold all the snide remarks until after we see her.

Then? We get her!

No, really, for me, this counts as a famous person that I almost know. And a nice one at that. So be nice.

:rotfl: And thanks for the plug Nebo, even if it does include a threat! I hope you enjoyed the show half as much as I enjoy your prose!

Nebo, great update!! Thanks for posting. I still have my no drinking while reading your report rule going! :rotfl:

Hmmm, thought you were the one on the right?!?! :confused3 Guess I should've paid more attention to your previous reports. :lmao:
WTG, Diane!! :cool1:

Thank you SO much for chiming in, Kevin, now, along with a big head, Diane is back to doing "couch presses".

Hey, I've got an '03 Santa Fe, too! Looooove my car...

::yes:: Strange that a car made by a company headquartered in such a small country seems so stinkin' happy to make road trips, isn't it? ;)
Way to go Diane!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I should get royalties from Diane.:rotfl:

Hey - who's the stud with the spuds?

$35/night with bolted microwave....you didn't need to put quarters in the bed or anything did you? :rotfl: Can't wait to find out what kind of towel animals the cleaning staff leaves you guys!

Finally, a woman with a good head on her shoulders. What a great line, feel free to repeat is frequently.:lmao: Thank you Great Lakes, the check is in the mail.

Nebo I'm reading your older trip reports first before I start on this one but, I wanted to say how much fun I have had reading the last few days. I have been laughing my head off, you guys are a riot! You are now my favorite writer.:goodvibes

OK back to Still Feeding Nebo, you just checked into CBR.

Um, ok Tissa, I hope someday in the future, when you get to actually be HERE, you'll see that you posted, and it won't confuse you,,,, like it did me!
Alright! Forward! To the Past!!

Hi Nebo,
Another Disappearing Peep. I see Wendy, Melinda and Dawn have already checked in !
I LOVED "still feeding Nebo" and was delighted to see this latest trippy.

Smidgy sounds like my kinda gal...takes care of business. I Hate when hotels nail stuff down. I have pried off numerous TV controllers from hotel night stands in the past... but a microwave...impressive !:thumbsup2

Have you tried Tylenol with codeine ? Up here in Canada we sell it over the counter and many of my American friends get me to bring them a few bottles when I head south. Hey...its no vike...but it may help. :cloud9:

I can't wait to read more.

Kim

Hi Kim, very nice to meetcha. Wendy and Melinda and Dawn are some of my most favorite people that I have met. I can't believe in Canada, they can sell codeine over the counter. Down here they are called tylenol 3s'. But, your right, not as good as vikes. BUT a whole lot better than aspirin or ibuprofen!

Ok, Road Trip!

Um, ok Tissa, I hope someday in the future, when you get to actually be HERE, you'll see that you posted, and it won't confuse you,,,, like it did me!
Alright! Forward! To the Past!!

I posted earlier because I was really enjoying your other reports but couldn't tell ya because they were in the graveyard. I saw this one and had to make myself known, and confuse you a little.

I'm all caught up now so on to the present/future.:yay:

You betcha... although technically that would be WTGG! But what's a G between friends?
Usually, I get in trouble for leaving out a g spot, but you say it's ok. Notice how I hid this whole thing in one color?

In that case, go with the email plan and work the bugs outta that system.

Hmmmm, now I am wondering if my desktop in the bedroom is nearly that old??
I usually DIS on my laptop, in the recliner. That way I can DIS, drink a beverage, watch TV all at the same time. What can I say, it's a new Millennium? Thou shalt multi-task!

Thanks, Javamom, you knew I'd jump at that bait you dangled in front of me.

Wait.
It is only Jan 11th.
How can I be this far behind again? Already?

I will try to catch up.
We were there a bit later in December for our first ever WDW at ChristmasmyGodwheredidallthesepeoplecomefrom trip.
Imagine that.

Mrs. Silly, I was looking for you when we were down there. AND MAN! Did you call that right! I thought it was supposed to be empty this time of year.
Really nice to here from you HaleyB.

sorry
double post

Mrs. Silly, I was lookihg for you when we were down there. AND MAN! Did you call that right! I thought it was supposed to be emty dis time a year. yeah, yeah

Nope, no upside here at all. Never mind.

Kelly, we watched the show last night as if we were watching a good friend, or, as it turned out, a daughter. You have the greatest smile and personality, we were clapping and cheering you on the entire way. WTGG!:yay:

Any chance that show might be broadcast or saved into a file (illegally or not!) onto the net? We're too cheap to pay for cable. Yeah, it's sad and we know it's sad but it's what keeps us visiting my parents fairly often, since they do have cable.

Anyhow, if anyone knows where I can get a copy of it, let me know.

Re: Bathroom readers, I dont think my DH started even reading yet, he got 6 books for Christmas, and I haven't asked my son.

Thanks for the reminder about Philadisney's show yesterday, I tivod it. So I am now playing it.........

Very painful about the Alice bag............

ok, they OBVIOUSLY HATED DISNEY... ie, crocs, disney bags, etc....\ however she STARTED OUT looking GREAT!!!!. (and the money they spent on spike shoes , well Jaimee(tiggerbell) would have a field day with!..but.. she ended up looking like ... well. a MODEL!!! if producing doesn't work out......pretty , pretty.

thanks for letting us in the the ground floor!!! remember those of us who "knew you then!":rotfl:

ps nebo and I are your "original mom and disney dads". tee hee

You know, I used to come home from work, and find the entire living room rearranged, that she said she did by herself. THis wouldn't seem so strange, except for the little fact that we have a PIANO! But when it comes to taking the garbage out to the curb,,,,,,,,,,

Diane, how come everybody loves the violent side of you? You been telling them things I should know about?

the first year we had an income tax refund: down payment on a house. the next year: a PIANO!!! bless his little ole heart! Doesn't matter how many times I play Amy Grant, moonlight sonata, bach, (he puts up with me, and still squeezes my piano in the townhouse, and butchers my playing, he knows how much it means to me!!!! all together now"aw shucks!"

Ok, I'm trying something here, Shawn and Askelton are the guinea pigs. I'm doing it normal, then trying a save as and reposting it.

I itch, I scratch, scratch and itch,,,,,, oh wait, wrong network.,.,., I however second the too cheap for cable thing, but I'm more than willing to shell out $45/mo. for broadband, go figure.... ABC puts Lost online by the next morning, so I'm good.

Jaime agrees - I could never bring myself to spend that much on an inndividual piece of clothing anyway - and I'm sure it shows... oh, well. I loved the show, Kelly, and you took it a lot better than I could - the side trip to the World of Disney was priceless!!! :rotfl2:

Meg wandered through the livingroom while I was watching it and saw the Crocs get talked about. She wandered off mumbling something about them not even trying that with Mom... :happytv:

Philadisney, I can't believe I missed most of your show! I watched until you had to throw away your Alice bag, and then went to sleep during the commercial--I guess it was too painful and my mind just shut down! I LOVE Alice, so I hope you replaced her!

Now, back to our regularly scheduled nebo and smidgy show!
