Is this a moray? I have to agree about the English food....nothing too exciting there. You just don't hear anyone say *Hey! Let's go out for English food tonight.* And there's a reason.

I think I saw that thing pop out of John Hurt's innards in ALIEN! Ewww! Thanks for the visual Lexy.

And Nebo: glow vikes? Who wouldn't want those? Except my DH and DM who are not allowed to have vicodin because they either a)hallucinate, or b) cry uncontrollably. I won't tell you who does which. Family loyalty, you know.

I will never doubt you again, Nebo. :worship:

Ode to a Giant Fish

I do not know from whence it came,
With one lone appendage, it appears to be lame.
I will not, can not eat it, I say--
If I do, I fear I will spray!

Just gimme a beer and I'll kick back.
For getting in predicaments, I have a strange knack.
Sympathy is all I ask because starving I'll be;
Now where's that damn bottle of Sunny D?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

marita, it wasn't the water. The water was free. But at the Y and B Club, the ice is 3 bucks a cube.

Oh geeez!!! Let's see, about 6 ice cubes times $3 plus 20% gratuity.
I owe you $21.60 :scared1: So sorry about that.

I repeat, send me your bank account number and I will forward it posthaste....

Really, I should have at least left a tip, but I wasn't thinking at the time.
Normally I at least do order something to eat. Believe it or not, Lexi!!!!!!

Oh man, I've got tears rolling down right now! I mean it, you guys are INCREDIBLE!

And I owe most of it to Lexy, for posting the picture of the fis,,,,THING. That gave validation to the story.
Ok, you all know that I get a kick out of writing a lot of the chapters, sometimes I have to even walk away, cuz I can't type, I'm laughing to hard when something pops in my head. Occasionally, it's a chore, I just hate it when not a damn thing funny happened, or I can't come up with a good line.

Well, this last chapter, like I said, I pretty much fired all the ammo I have left. What always cracks my up is that what I think will go over the best, very, very seldom does. I thought the "moray" line was so obvious, I'd get a "yeah, good one", and that would be it. My favorite was the "antidote", and the "Soylent Green". I have a feeling that anybody that has written a trip report knows exactly what I mean. Onward.

Nebo, I promise I will try and post more often. I was a member of the DIS for a year or so before I got up the nerve to post at all. Now I have written two trip reports and occasionally do post. I am getting braver!

That's ok Angel, I'm just glad you are reading, bravery is highly overrated.

He also plays scrabble? :worship:

Do you have a facebook account? Wait, forget I asked. Just google it.

We play scrabulous all the time on line!

If you are ever in the mood, to play a game of scrabble, let me know.

Monica, first of all, Tim sounds like someone I would love to meet, along with you. But what kind of turned me off on Scrabble, (tm), was when they came out with their own dictionary of usable scrabble words. I'm sorry, WAY too many words that nobody has ever heard of, or used in their lifetime. When Smidgy and I play, our definitive legitimacy word source is an old 60's Webster, if it ain't in there, it ain't a word! And "ain't ain't a word! I do think that creepage would have cut the mustard though, pushing it, but cut in nonetheless.

As you can clearly see, that's NOT me holding the moray. (I would never wear that shirt...especially with that fanny pack.)

I actually highjacked the picture off of flickr. I was just trying to figure out what that THING looked like!

Lexy, I'm old, and feeble, don't get around much. Do you have a database on your puter where you can pull these pictures up from? Yes, that thing looked just like the thing they served me, but your picture looks like it's being unwrapped in the Orlando Sentinel. That's why I was wondering where it came from. I didn't get the morning news with mine.

Wow, I have an ADR at Rose and Crown for June. I was thinking that I would order the fish and chips too, but ummm no. Guess I will go with the pork loin or chicken instead.

Wow, thanks for the heads up!

Stephanie, right? My opinion, I would change it, the entire ressie I mean. Too many better places to eat there. Le Cellier, Coral Reef, under the bridge that leads into Mexico where the ducks hang out. No really, I would go for Teppanedo, if it's not too late to get a ressie. Just don't tick off the guy that holds the knives! I learned the hard way.

He says he was not messing with you,

he swears he saw one with a head on it.

:confused3

Colleen, I didn't think he was messing with us. His "EWWWWW" was a little too loud, and a little too genuine.
Hey! Next time we eat together, SPEAK UP! If you have to throw a "Glowtini" at me, DO IT!

Oh my gosh! I'm all caught up and my ribs hurt from laughing so much! Can't paroose at work, they "monitor us", big brother watches every move you know...;) . As for being addicted....totally!!
Lets see...where can I start? Soylent Green....rich baby!! Oh my goodness I am so glad to see that picture of the fish! We were supposed to eat there in Sept(which is now a december trip)....guess what I thought would be safe to order:scared1: ?? Uh uh, no way jose, were eating someplace else!!! Raglan Road...steak baby!! Thank you Nebo:worship:

I can see you feeding the ducks on the path....wah wah wah...you are such a good kind of evil!!! Love it!
You are your wife rock! You are living the dream I would love to live. I have been addicted to anything and everything disney since I was about 8....thats a LOT of years ago. Always wanted to work there...
Didn't mean to keep you so long, I'll be making my first trip to WDW in December...early in the month. Can't wait to finally see it! This has been great! Excited for more!:goodvibes

Sunnie, you have no idea how much I envy you.

Anybody else out there thinking she should change her name from SunnieRN to SunnyD? No really, we would give anything to be able to go there again for the FIRST time. Plus, we would love to take a couple there that had never been there. I hope you are learning the ins and outs here on the Dis. So many little tricks that a novice would never know about, like how a fastpass really works. Ok, I want to know where you are staying.

We'll meet you there.

This photo says alot...anyone care to caption it?

all I can say is "GACK!!!" for some STRANGE reason Nebo(loud shirt and all) had gorgeous ladies like melinda enthralled with his stories, and pretty ladies like disney freak laughing like a "schoolgirl". :confused3 :lmao:

Um, what part don't you understand?:confused3 :confused3

That's a good one , that WAS John Hurt, wasn't it?

I will never doubt you again, Nebo. :worship:

:rotfl: :happytv: Hoogy, Great one! Ok, how did you come up with that at six in the morning?

I can't believe you ate eel. It looks like they deep fried a stick.

Sleeping asterisk, the jury is still out on exactly what that thing is/was. The best part of it was that at least it was no longer moving.

Marita, please, I'm just teasin ya, that's what I do. However, when we do finally move down there, I'm expecting a job writing all the press releases concerning Disney. :woohoo:

Wendy: Don't read this part:rolleyes1

Hi Nebo, just call me Steph. Only strangers and nurses call me Stephanie. I've come to realize that DISers and my other imaginary internet friends are not strangers. Strange maybe, but not strangers!;)

I adore Le Cellier, but I must confess that my ADR at Rose and Crown is merely a ruse and attempt to arrive in time to luck out and get patio seating... for Illuminations. Yes, I know it's first-come, first-served for those but a girl can try right? Anyway I am hoping to find out if the view from there is as great as it is rumoured to be??? It's a gamble to be sure, but just maybe I'll get lucky... and I won't order the moray.

Although, I am positive that I will be sitting there humming:

"When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie.... that a mor---- dang it Nebo!"

Then I will chuckle and my hubby will ask me what I am chuckling about and I'll have to tell him it is another DIS thing. He'll wink at me and nod and say, "Zzub, Mel, La...?" Then I will say, "No, it's a Nebo and Smidgy tale." Then he'll say, is Nebo the meat eater or the one with the bad back then? Anyway.. there you go. I little foreshadowing of your upcoming role in my future trip report, should I decide to write one.

Steph, that just cracked me up!

Oh, as a reference for those not in the know. Steph is the one who did my avatar as well as LaLa's and a host of others. A very talented lady. :worship:

Funny little side story here. A couple of years ago, I showed my son my new avatar and said Javamom did it. He said something like, "oh, I guess she knows Java (the computer language)." I said, oh, I just thought it meant she likes coffee :rolleyes1

Hey, that made me think .......... hint, Steph!!!!!!!!!!!

Nebo
Thanks so much for the great update and the R&C info. Will NOT be going there in Feb. EEEEEEWWWWW that thing just looks nasty. What cook in there right mind sends something like that out to customers. Gives me the Heebie Geebies.

Looking forward to more. :woohoo:

I love fastpasses, from my disneyland days! They rock! And I know one thing for sure! NO rose and crowne "a-more".

Steph, kinda funny the other reporters you mentioned. I read treports for about 4 months before I even became a member. The first one I read was by Tiggerbell, then La La, ZZUB, and Happyhaunt. They were all terrific!
To paraphase Mel;
Then.

I.
Cracked.

I just had to try one on my own. In the beginning, I used to print them out, take them downstairs and lay on the couch and read them. Then I had to get a lot more selective. Too many pictures would just lock up my puter, I'm still on dial up. Plus, it was costing me a fortune in printer ink to print out the pictures. That's why I had to do my own report. It was cheaper that way!

Wendy: Don't read this part:rolleyes1

Ok, what is this? A coded post? Are you telling me that you use that dictionary? Wendy, Too? Let's see:

Creepage: adj. suffering from; re: An abundance of creeps had me running for the door to escape all the creepage.
Creepage: vb. describing the condition of, undergarments, unwantedly northern travelling. see "wedgie".

Steph, that just cracked me up!

Ok, I thought coffee too. But what do I know. Me and Smidgy were just learning Basic, when they pulled the plug on DOS.

Hi CHeryl, boy, your name looks familiar. You know, I tried my best to descibe it in words, but as they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Many people didn't believe me, at least until Meliinda posted that shot. So thank her, she's the one that got the message across.

Now THAT is HILARIOUS!!!:rotfl:

Yep, like she said. The only bad part about the location there is that it's hard to make a quick getaway back there.

Sunnie, you have no idea how much I envy you.
. Ok, I want to know where you are staying.

Ahem! Trust me, we have no trips planned. But you still didn't tell me where you are staying. You're offsite aren't you, and too embarrassed to say it?

Nebo, I owe all my inspiration to a great cup of Folger's in the morning!:thumbsup2

Wow! I guess that now makes you Javagirl'smom.

My DFIL was actually complaining yesterday, he said "the line to Soarin was always an hour and the fastpass lines were always an hour!"

I realized then that all this time (years mind you) he's thought the fastpass times were how long the line was. So when it said 1130 at 1030 Dad was thinking the line was an hour long

I then explained to him how Fastpasses work and he was like, OMG! That's a great idea!

:faint:

Ahem! Trust me, we have no trips planned. But you still didn't tell me where you are staying. You're offsite aren't you, and too embarrassed to say it?
.

:rotfl: Not staying off site, just missed the question, sorry. But if I were staying off site I probably would be too embarrassed to tell you!!
Right now we are planning on Coronado Springs, it looks so pretty! But having the three year old I started leaning toward Pop Century. I think he would love everything there so much.
I'm not booking until Jun 10th or so, have a bit of time to decide still. There seems to be pros and cons to all of them and all the categories. At first we were POFQ, then Coronado Springs, now ?????

I didn't have a 193 point word.
I had a 194 point word. I got the triple word score twice on it.
And it wasn't against Wendy.

CREEPAGE

I'll use it in a sentence.
Don't you hate it when you bend over and you get a little creepage?

I'm SOOO glad it wasn't against ME!!!! :rotfl2:

Neeb-oh! Great installment!

I love your a moray adventures and having to dry swallow 3 "spearmint tic tacs"!

I think when Diane went inside the Land to procure the Fast passes, I flagged her down! NOT that I needed yet another cameo :cool2: Just Sayin'!

I LOOOOVE that picture (too lazy to quote) of You and Diane! It's really especially flattering!
