I have a dental appointment this afternoon. I know I am awful about it so I had to ask - how often do you floss your teeth?

I floss every day at night before I go to bed.

Every single day! My mom is my hygienist, she knows.... she always knows :rotfl:

Once a day, at night.

I used to be much better about it, flossing after every meal. But...I just don't. I dunno why. I should. I'm thinking now, "I really should get back in that habit..." but I won't.

Have a nice trip! If you're good, they might let you dig through the surprise drawer and pick out a treasure!!!

I have an appointment this afternoon too. I try to floss every day but it usually ends up being a few times a week.

At least once a day. My teeth get very uncomfortable if I get food stuck between them, so it'll be more than once a day sometimes.

I used to be terrible about it. But I bought these little flossers and now I floss them just about every day.

Every day. Sometimes more than once if something gets stuck in there. popcorn::

I used to be very hit and miss about it, but once I got in the habit, it feels weird not to. :teeth:

Every once in a while I'll forget, but pretty much every day.

I floss at least once a week. I actually would like to floss every day, but I have some issues. I have a bleeding disorder and my bottom teeth are ridiculously close together. This combination makes flossing a drawn out process for me because I make multiple careful attempts to get the floss all the way in very carefully, but I still wind up bleeding a lot. (I bleed for hours after going to the dentist because they always just jam it in there. It's really disgusting and ruins the squeaky clean feeling most people have after a good cleaning.)

My DH does not floss his teeth-- ever. The only time it gets done is when he goes to the dentist. He doesn't have any guilt about it and just tells them honestly that he never flosses. The past few times they've even said, "I'm supposed to tell you to floss every day, but your teeth look great so you can just keep doing what you're doing." So much for me telling him it was necessary...

I answered just about every day, but in reality it's just about every time I eat.

I buy the plastic flossers for my kids and have them floss at least at night.

My dentist had a great sign hanging in his office. It had a close up of teeth and said "Only floss the ones you want to keep!" :teeth:

Every night before bed and more often than that if I have food stuck. When I was growing up, I was never taught the importance of good dental hygeine and I paid for it in my early 20s. You can bet your behind now that I practice good dental hygeine and will instill it in my children as well!

Ditto.

Not Just About Everyday, But Each and EVERY day!

We all do in my family, I keep floss in the bathroom (in case you get bored), by everyone's computer, TV's, pocketbook, in the car (do you know how many times I've flossed in traffic on my way home from Boston lol I can go on and on about flossing but I'll stop here. Good Poll!
