We went to Disney as a family last October for the first time (as a whole family) and I loved it much more than I thought I would. It was a 10 day trip with 8 park days (total for the adults, my mom was with so we did a date night and a day with just my oldest) and although it had its moments with 2 toddlers, we really had a great time.
My husband had a great time but Disney is not his thing...he would probably be ok never going back but for sure as a family we are not going for probably 3 years, possibly 4.
Anyway, I am formulating a convincing plan (haha) to do a mother/son trip with the Traveling Homeschoolers group. I am still working on whether financially we could swing it, but although of course we want to do rides I would love to do all the things educational that my son loved...Wilderness Explorers, Rafiki's Planet Watch, etc. Plus of course the courses that Traveling Homeschoolers have.
We only have 5 park days and I am not quite sure how to structure it. We wouldn't do HS this trip...we had a great time especially with the SW stuff but don't plan to go back until the construction is done.
I feel like it's pretty much a must to do 2 MK days bc there is so much to go through. I feel like we might need 2 days at AK too to get through Pandora, Planet Watch, and not feel rushed with Wilderness Explorers (he did probably 13 badges last time and was bummed we had to cut him off).
But I also feel like we need 2 days at Epcot...both classes are there (although we only need to attend 1) but he is also super into Phineas and Ferb and he was also bummed last trip that we only had time for 1 mission.
We can really only afford to do 4 day premium (which would include park hoppers) or 5 day basic, so PH would only be a choice with a 4 day pass. Any thoughts on how we should split our days, assuming we even get to go? We are going the week before Thanksgiving if that makes a difference.
