HIFS is running a special homeschoolers' discount & package for September (maybe December, too). $99/night plus $25 daily food voucher. The food voucher carries over each day, so unused money can be used subsequent days of you stay (you can't "cash it in" at the end, though ;) ). If you go to their website, you can see homeschoolers' packages. There are links to other educational places in Orlando. The sales manager in charge of it (Bryan Elkins) tells me the Sea World educational tours are wonderful. He also highly recommends the Science Center and Word Spring (Wycliffe's exhibit on cultures and translations--it's free).

HIFS rooms can sleep up to 7 w/separate master bedroom. See more on the website. We're staying there in December and are very excited about it!

That's a good rate, especially with the food vouchers. Don't forget that kids eat free with parents (I can't remember the age--they have it on their website). We've stayed at HIFS before and liked it (stayed there for DD's first Orlando trip when she was 11 mos old).
When I was looking for places to stay this trip, best rate I got for HIFS was $99/night w/AAA discount but no food vouchers.
Hope you enjoy yourselves!
What kind of suite did you get?

We're getting a Kingsize Kidsuite. I haven't requested a theme. I don't think we care unless it's too young... (kids are ages 6 through 11)

Sounds great! Its not something we'll be able to use this year....but I'll keep it in mind to look for it in the future.

Thanks for the tip! HIFS sounds very nice....we'd like to try it someday.
