Hey!!
I found this in the cricut newsletter today... The Cricut CHIRP Newsletter - Feb 9, 2009
It had directions for home made SKITTLES!!!
TIPS TREASURE CHEST - Today's tip comes from messageboard member GenieBug. Thanks for sharing this fun information with us GenieBug.
Making your own skittles is easy. I found directions online, but here is the short version (I tried it and it works):
Spray a sheet of aluminum foil with pam and then kinda wipe it down with a paper towel.
Use a hot glue gun to make skittles...kinda swirling the glue gun to avoid glue strings.
Then, peel them off.
Place in plastic baggy and add a few drops of alcohol ink.
Lay out to dry on wax paper.
There you have it: home made skittles. You can even get creative and make shapes; I made hearts.
I'm going to try it this weekend... I need some black ones!!
