you sound a little bit like my son - the "proud" owner of not one, not two - but three tickets...of course none of them were his fault. The first was my fault because he was supposed to be home by a certain time and he was already late so he was speeding. That one I didn't find out about until we got a letter from the Secretary of States office. he had gone and paid it without telling us. The second he got going down a hill so it wasn't his fault because the car speeds up going downhill. That one he did tell me about and he went to driving school and got it off his record. Which is good because.....the third one, which also was not his fault , because "that cop is stupid". He know that "that cop" sits at the gas station and catches people coming into town that don't slow down....and yet he didn't slow down....so which of them is stupid??: These were all received during his first 2 years out of high school.

Oh all the tickets I have ever gotten we my fault, I don't deny that... Lets see, in the last 15 years I have had 4 speeding tickets (almost 5 but for some reason the cop let me go), one for unsafe backing up (minor fender bender when I was 16), one for talking on my cell phone and one for running through a stop sign (in front of a cop! I totaly didn't see him and I didn't realize it was a four way stop!). I went to the drivers improvement class 3 times to reduce my tickets... hopefully I'll learn this time....

HELLO SAM! HERE I AM! lol yes I go MIA for a bit every now and then but those kids keep me busy! Very excited we got our trip info also, Cathleen is kinda bummed out trip is all girls (I mean ladies Sam ) 7 ladies and only one guy... Cathleen thinks guys are more fun lol I'm not even gonna touch that one....

Hey Dan are you trying to boost our post countDan is right about the # of WOMEN (inside joke) on our next Free Trips , Most unusual!!Makes assigned the Guys room easy thoughI have 2 that requested to share a room so that leaves me with 4 to choose from !!Guarantee I get a TALKER and Carol gets the quiet one !! Cathleen knows who she will be rooming with MRS MATER!!! The one individual is going from the house we work at so she will room with Cathleen. She LOVES Mater Understatement huh Dan !!
I haven't spoken to my people yet to make a guess at who I will be rooming with!!!!

We do like the pizza at PP. The adult dinner comes with pizza and a salad so it was enough for DD and I to share. Plus there are not many options at DHS.

I heard from our TA yesterday and she has us booked on the Safari for 1pm on Friday October 14th !! She also made us ressies at TH for after it BUT I said try to make our Tony's a little later as I think the guys would prefer it I was a little leery about the African buffet for them !!Carol totally agreed with me , said she enjoyed it but for the plain eaters that most of them are Tony;s with more traditional food like steak and spaghetti would be better !!
Dan does not have any extra things to plan so he is free to do whatever !! So now I have to really get down to planning the touring plans etc for this October trip along with my August one that has to be seriously reworked and Cedar point !!

Today I received MORE info in the mail
I think it fitting that I should share it on here as Dan's info was included and he doesn't know about it !!Sooo let's see if Dan gets on before I see him and spill the beans

I got our Flight Info !!!!!!

We are flying Non Stop with Jet Blue to Orlando October 13th
Dan has to meet 1 gal coming in from Albany and I meet 1 coming in from Syracuse

Now Cathleen The Flight leaves at 7:10 a.m which will mean being at Buffalo Airport by4:30 or 5 A.M.

We arrive at MCO at approx 9:45 a.m. both the other flights arrive around the same time sooo we will need to hussle over to the other gates to meet them!!

We return Oct 18th at 5:10 pm arriving at Buffalo about 7:45pm
Soo we get a nice relaxing day before we leave maybe a DTD , eat at EOS ,check out the Lego store !!Dan, Noah might like something from there !!

Boy I hope Dan gets on , my phone will be ringing !!!

LATE RETURNING FLIGHT!!!! YEA!!! That is good news! Cathleen says we have to stay at a hotel next to the airport so she can sleep in longer on the 13th lol I actually think thats a great idea, Cathleen and Mrs. mater can take the beds and I will sleep on the floor... or maybe the bath tub? Although it's early and like being able to get in to Orlando early. Get to the POP check in get lunch and a nap in before heading to the MK for dinner at LTT! Oh, I'm SOOOOOOO excited! And I just can't hide it!

Poor Dan for some reason his flight is at 1:30pm returning, he's calling the TA to see if he can have the same times as me !!I am guessing she couldn't get 20 seats on the smae flight !! I can't imagine any other reason!! But his Albany person has to change in Baltimore I think and I am wondering if there were NO other flights to Albany Non stop !!Plus he is flying back SWA!! I guess I should have looked at his whole packet , but after the flight on the 13th was all the same I just figured coming back was !!!

Putting my 2 cents in on CS:

AK: Flame Tree BBQ (The BEST!!)
EP: Sunshine Seasons; also the French Boulangerie Patisserie
DHS: none really - we tend to eat a TS, Backlot is okay.

Oh all the tickets I have ever gotten we my fault, I don't deny that... Once I was pulled over for getting in the turning lane early. The light was red (traffic was stopped), saw my chance to pull out and get into the lane to make the arrow, and then saw the lights. I went thru my mental checklist, not speeding, current registration, etc. The cop told me technically I'm going the wrong way as I cross over into the other lane before getting to the turning lane. So, for all of you that have been guilty of it, you CAN get a tix!

Hope you can get a later return flight Dan. And Rosie, the safari sounds great.

Just think Rosie, you must be so thrilled to have this trip soon after your family trip.

Janet your cs locations sound good !!As for speeding tickets I have been pulled over for 2 !!First one soon after I got my license which was in my 40's and the cop gave me a seat belt ticket instead cuz he liked my accent You should have heard my co workers when I told them that2nd one was on the thruway and I was driing my ex sil truck !!I argued with the Sheriff and said I know I wasn't going over 68 as I was trying to set my cruise control !!He said "Are these the original tires " "Huh says me he told me that bigger tires made your speed 10 miles OFFBut he still gave me the ticket, which was reduced as he told the DA I had no idea about the Tire thing !!
