I got home yesterday from the Swan, and despite the heat, I had an incredible time! The Swan was fantastic (I'm now officially spoiled by staying in the Epcot Resorts area - I couldn't imagine staying anywhere elsed), and the entire week was great. This was my first trip renting a car, and I absolutely loved it; the freedom a car gives you is well worth it.
TLinden16 (aka JellyrollsKaren in chat) got me addicted to Jellyrolls, so now I have a new nighttime hangout. What a blast that was! I wound up spending 3 nights there, and I could have spent a few more nights there. There's always a next trip!
I came home with sunburn on my legs so bad that I now have a patch of second degree burns on my one leg. Not fun! I travel to WDW a lot during the warmer months, so I thought my body was used to it. Despite many layers of 45 sunscreen, I still got burnt badly; this was the only negative aspect of my trip.
Is it time to go back to WDW yet?
