I got home yesterday from the Swan, and despite the heat, I had an incredible time! The Swan was fantastic (I'm now officially spoiled by staying in the Epcot Resorts area - I couldn't imagine staying anywhere elsed), and the entire week was great. This was my first trip renting a car, and I absolutely loved it; the freedom a car gives you is well worth it.

TLinden16 (aka JellyrollsKaren in chat) got me addicted to Jellyrolls, so now I have a new nighttime hangout. What a blast that was! I wound up spending 3 nights there, and I could have spent a few more nights there. There's always a next trip!

I came home with sunburn on my legs so bad that I now have a patch of second degree burns on my one leg. Not fun! I travel to WDW a lot during the warmer months, so I thought my body was used to it. Despite many layers of 45 sunscreen, I still got burnt badly; this was the only negative aspect of my trip.

Is it time to go back to WDW yet? :)

Welcome home, Debi. Here is another vote that the Epcot Resort Area can't be beat. :earsboy:

Why am I being blamed for helping Debi discover a wonderful place? Geez. The thanks I get.

Karen

Welcome home Debi. Glad you had a nice time at the Swan!!

Welcome back!
After quite a few Dolphin stays in recent years, we will be trying the Swan for the first time in....however many days it says on the countdown clock below! ;) Have NOT yet been to Jellyrolls, but it's a definite must-do for our trip!

I LOVE the S/D resort and being in that area too. Glad you had fun!

Hope your burns heal soon Debi, sounds painful. :(

Boy, am I ever dumb! I saw the title of this thread and I thought, "Someone on the DIS took part in the Swan pageant?"

Karen, since I couldn't blame anyone for my Off Kilter addiction (I discovered them all by myself - I am so proud! :) ), I have to blame someone for my Jellyrolls addiction. Since I was there on your suggestion, you're the person that gets the blame. :)

My burns are healing, and the ironic thing is that they're healing in the shape of a Hidden Mickey. How strange!
