DD12 just asked if we could go shopping tonight.

I didnt' realize she was so ill!
We never go shopping on a school night
we rarely go shopping at all

the child must be delerious!

Maybe she has a fever!

DS is very tall and thin. He does like to eat a lot throughout the day, when he's home. I have a nephew the same age as our DSs and he also likes to keep eating. Must be the age!

I do enjoy having an eater, though
I found it frustrating when the kids were little, and I would make a meal
and it went virtually untouched, except for DH and I.

I hope that you know that when I made my comment about the food not being complicated, it was not aimed towards you. I just meant that I try not to make things that take a lot of prep time since there's always so much to do and I don't want to spend my whole day cooking (though I feel like I do).

I agree with that.
DS was, and still is, a very picky eater. When both kids were babies, they were chubby. Once they became toddlers, that's when the picky eating began.

DD12 has recovered from her previous illness....
at least until bedtime....
