I see those advertisements all the time, too, for Blair.
I think there is an actual store in PA, somewhere to the north of me....
In fact, I think DH and I were there years ago........
I have just remembered it is in Warren, PA

The wedding reception was very nice, delicious food, lots of yummy cookies, and limited open bar, so my drink of choice was white wine.......

I will have to pinch myself to remind ME to stay out of bucket tonight after the reception...

Did you ever have cookie/candy called buckeyes?
Peanut butter filling, dipped in chocolate, but with a little bit of peanut butter showing through on the top (look like buckeye nuts)

Peanut butter balls are popular here, too, same thing, but dunked completely in chocolate

now, these rival peanut BUTTER m & m's.......smooth peanut butter filling...
a pain to make, but so yummy to eat.


Enjoyed a few at the reception
among other delicious cookies
dessert is definitely my downfall

They created a slideshow of the wedding which ran on a loop at the reception, very nice (the wedding was in a far away town)

and a slideshow of the groom growing up

I love those old picture "movies".......
He has grown into such a nice young man.

The groom was practically a brother to my kids, we consider them our second family....
The groom's mother was our babysitter from the time DS was three months old, until DD9 attended school full day. She never once asked for a day off or took a sick day, and watched my kids even if they were sick. She is a home ec teacher (so she sews and mends and bakes, too) though she became a stay at home mom when she had her first of four children. It is her secondborn that married a week ago......two still at home, her oldest followed in mom and dad's footsteps and is a teacher near here, but she lives on her own.
DS was the first child she "took in" to babysit, and she only watches teachers kids (to have the same holidays as her hubby, and summers off)

Judi, I decided to search for the jeans you're looking for. I always see ads from this company in magazines, but not familiar with their products. Seems to have black jeans with elastic waist. They have other ones, too.

DH was a store manager for Blair many moons ago..........decent 'older gal' products

& we had one in Erie too, the 'call center' is still in Erie........Judi if you call for the jeans you will be talking to someone in Erie (not me though ), they will also process the online orders from here.
