Home after Garrett's surgery

Thanks to all for your prayers and good wishes.

Ohhh, he looks so awful!! My heart breaks looking at him! His eyes and all around them are swollen and bruised. He is not too comfortable right now. The surgery itself went okay......doctor had one area of bleeding.....that's were he is most swollen right now.

Poor little bugger has been through so much more than a 12 year old should have to go through.

Anyway, thanks to all.

Thanks for asking.

Garrett's surgery lasted longer than we thought, so I had to cancel. Ihave to call back tomorrow to reschedule.

And believe me, if I don't reschedule, my mom will do it for me. She is down my neck like crazy about seeing the doctor.

I am feeling a little bit better, but I realize I am still not where I need to be.

All these posts lately about loved ones being so ill and some dying make me feel like I have no right to complain about feeling depressed in the first place, though!

Best of wishes for cluody days and a speedy recovery i know i much prefer clouds to sun after lid sugerys and tell garret i'm cheering for him too.. and you take it easy, mom, make yuourt appointment and hang in there,, it'll all be better soon. ( that what they keep telling me anyway) keep me posted and tell garret i jelous he got his in one trip i'm on surgery number 14 rebuilding my lids
