I also learned that they actually took the time to whip out a yearbook to show the principal who I was. B/c he didnt know me, b/c I've never had to be sent to the office before~!

You have x amount of time to do detention. If you do not complete detention in that period of time, you are put SDC, and then if you refuse, you are suspended. Your mother refused to comply to the rules, hence forth, you are suspended.

The only thing you can challenge is your detention. That failed, so you are suspended. Thats just how these things work. I had four hours of detention. If I had refused I would've went into ISS (in school suspension) If I had not gone or not gone quietly, I would've been suspended.

BTW, if you're fingers are broken, why are you typing out an extensive story like that?

Omg come on Thats terible for 3 reasons
1. I know that runnind is bad for someone with asthma can't run a long time becuase this kid in my gym class can't run for 2 min without taking a break
2. No gym means no gym not runing for 25 minutes so you don't have to use fingers
3 If your mom said you could stay at home then you should have to go to detention the next day

Also I'm like you kind of I was still in El 5th grade so we had recess one day i was with some friends and some boys came and a fight between 1 of my friends and them they knew each other from the bus an me and another friend tried to stop it but then we all got and trouble and for the next week during recess(for 20 mins) we had to run around the school yard 1st and only time I've been to the office

All the fair people in the world don't work in schools anymore

I can type with my toes (slowly) and also (very slowley) with my toung. Maybe its only one or 2 fingers

I've broken things before, I don't care how mad you are, you don't use them. Now unless you're typing with two fingers or one handed, in which case, it would be very difficult to type out as much as you have today, I don't see how you would be able to type, but not play volleyball. I also think that if you have a doctors note to get you out of a class, that would also mean "hey, this is bad enough that I shouldn't do anything that involves my hands too much."

Your mom needs to stop making waves. Thats what's gotten you in this situation to begin with. You said that she let you stay home. You said that she refused your SDC. You said that she fought the detention. You should have just taken it and not made a big deal out of it.

i agree the reason you originally got the detention sucks and the fact that they are holding the snow day against you sucks too BUT i believe that getting your mom involved to fight your fight and going all the way to superintendent will have consequences which you will have to deal with until you graduate.
the school will now view your mom as one of the problem parents and that will place negative feelings on you
