I'm the only person to take that side of the argument, and you refuse to respond to it.

I've broken things before, I don't care how mad you are, you don't use them. Now unless you're typing with two fingers or one handed, in which case, it would be very difficult to type out as much as you have today, I don't see how you would be able to type, but not play volleyball. I also think that if you have a doctors note to get you out of a class, that would also mean "hey, this is bad enough that I shouldn't do anything that involves my hands too much."

Your mom needs to stop making waves. Thats what's gotten you in this situation to begin with. You said that she let you stay home. You said that she refused your SDC. You said that she fought the detention. You should have just taken it and not made a big deal out of it.

Well,I broke a chip out of my ankle and limped around for two whole months in second grade with out a brace or anything,after awhlie,broken things just don't hurt as bad.When it happened the first day,I couldn't walk at all,but I toughened up and used it because I wanted to go to school,my mom finally took me to a doctor because I didn't stop limping.

I understand you were trying to make a point to shelby (I of course agree with her and you go after..yeah that says something..anyway!) but that comparison does not make sense. It is not the same concept. You had the choice to simply suck it up and take detention...detention is not the end of the world. You are not going to die because you have to stay home for a day and be suspended.
What you should be concerned about is why you were not allowed to get your inhaler not why you were suspended.

Why do you always have to reply with such negative things? I know that my fingers are broken and I know that I can still type pretty well. You must not know much about volleyball becasue it uses your whole hand. Unlike how I'm typing right now. I'm a setter which means I use my hands a lot. I can take the drs note how I want to. And I know it doesn't hurt to type.

I love it that my mom is fighting for me. I don't care if they make my life hell for the mext 3 1/2 years, it would be worth it to know I always have her on my side. If they want to be stupid and obsessive about me, that's fine then.

I'm not going to just take something when I know it's injustice. If the African American's just took everything and didn't realize it as what it was, where do you think America would be right now?

You're mother is ruining highschool for you. You can disagree with me all you want, but you'll see it all too soon. She went directly over the coach, teacher, principals, and the school boards head with that. Thats wrong. Thats going to piss them off, and at the next sign of you coming close to stepping out of line, they'll take out their anger at your mother on you. I'm not being negative, I'm just telling you whats going to happen. I was actually trying to help you.

And how dare you compare yourself to a civilrights movement. This is NOT civilrights. this is your mom pissing off your principal. This is your coach with an inferiority complex. This is you wanting to argue with me. This is NOTHING compared to what those people went through. You should be ashamed of saying that. You obviously know nothing about America's history if you think that that comment was anywhere near okay. When you are sprayed down with hoses, have dogs released on you, when you take mustard gas, when you are whipped and beaten and enslaved by your coach for using the wrong drinking fountain, THEN you can say something like that.

Last time I was in there, detention wasn't close to that. Hell, I took a nap in detention.

I personally feel that preventing bodily harm to a student by getting her inhaler so the school doesn't get sued for neglegence if she died is more important than her just stop running for a few seconds.
African Americans had to deal with injustices,I must say that they were much bigger ones,but a student trying to save her life by getting an inhaler really seems like an injustice to me.

Okay so let me start off with the story. My fingers are broken, therefore I can't do volleyball. And volleyball is one of my class periods. I have a doctors note that says no PE. My coach makes me run for 25 minutes non-stop.

Did the note say no PE, or no volleyball? If it said no PE, I think your mom should first go to the Principal (not the AP), and if that gets nowhere, the school board.

I'm not belittling what your mother tried to do. She did what any mother would want to do, in protecting her daughter. But shes doing it the wrong way. I was trying to help you in saying what was going to happen.

You've complained about this school before, it always seems to be the school's problem.

I told you exactly how it was. I'm not going to respond with "oh that sucks' because, you know, it really doesn't. I did not attack you until you compared yourself to the civil rights movement, which was totally off color.

You act like I'm forcing you out. Really, I don't care all that much. It just looks like you're running out of ways to respond to me. You've had a problem with me since your truth or dare thread. I don't post much on the TB anymore, but I've recived some PMs from certain people with the rudest, meanest things I've ever had said to me. But I can still show my face around here. Sometimes people need to remember that its just the internet. Its not that important.

I think that all of you should wipe the slate and put it behind you.
I just want to say this though,why would anybody even want to come on here if it wasn't fun,only negative and argumentative.I come on the Dis to have fun and talk.At least for the future of the Dis people need to get their acts together and try to not make a huge issue or argument out of everything and forgive and forget.

The whole dis isn't like that.

I have more people how like me here than people who don't. I have friends here. And as bad as the people who want me gone, I'm not going to just leave. I like hte other parts of dis. Its not all like the TB. I am a very well know, well liked poster on other parts of this forum.

I put two years of my life into this part in particular. I love this board. I worked my rear end off trying to get more active moderation, and I became a scapegoat for those who I thoguht were following me when things got hard. My neck was on the line with the administration for this place, for my friends, but I guess that doesn't matter anymore when you needed a place to point a finger.

I come back for the people who defended me. For the people who like me. and hell, I'll be honest with you. I come back sometimes just to remind those who hate me that I'm still here.

I only speak one language. I don't know how many other ways to say that its her own fault (or her mothers) that she was suspended. A lot more could've happened to her.

well she took it as yelling...thats where you should be arguing this. You shouldnt have argued the detention just said it was a complete misunderstanding. By getting angry and defensive you make the situation worse. And if the gym teacher wouldn't listen to you then you could have gone to a teacher you do trust and explained the situation.
