Holy catfish!!!

WOW so your dd could learn Scandinavian? LOL so do you still have the experiences?

So while the ladies were talking the tech guys were ohing and ahing while they were doing their thing.

They then let us hear what they had captured on DVR. They had 5 voices that were really kind of oddly clear.

One male voice when asked "Do you need to leave" said "Quit it" (caught in out basement)

a female voice when asked "Do you like The living Beings Here" - "Naughty Bad" (CAught in the master bedroom)

Male voice when asked "Do you belong here" - "It's Mine" (in the upstairs bathroom)

MAle Voice when asked "Do you like the little girl" - "She Thinks"

MAle Voice when asked "Why are you here" - "Got Lost"

So they chatted with us for about another 30 minutes. Told us our house was really active...lots of evidence. They said yes...it's haunted. To which we replied "What do we do now"

The Sighkick lady then said we needed to set ground rules with the things in the house. And preceeded to tell them they had to be nice or they would be forced to leave. Meh...it was unimmpressive to me.

They all pack up around midnight and leave.

Less than 15 minutes after they leave, our DVD player down stairs and Satilite reciever up stairs burned up. Then about 3 minutes after that my cell phone died(I mean died...lost sim card phone numbers everything) then the dog started barking at the wall in the toy room.

It was nuts for about an hour. then it quit. And it was silent for about 2 months.

So last summer, DS started grabbing me by the hand and dragging me downstairs to the basement saying "Ho-Ho-Ho daddy, Ho-Ho-ho" he'd take me to our furnace room and over to the sump...and he'd say (while making the sign for) "Hiding".

The nthe daughter said the Dark man was back and he haad a friend. The friends Name was "Clockhead" and his face looked like a clock. And clock head was naughty.

We kind of laughed this off as a 5 year old being clever...but after about 2 weeks of lights burning out, noises...scared kids barking dog...bumps, bangs and crashes, We decided to call the ghost folks again...they really needed to see this.

WOW ...so are they ok now? and I think that the last part about the ground rules were more for them then anything ..I don't really know how to get rid of them maybe a priest? if you want them gone...please be careful though...

Do what happened?

So the call was made, and the same general process was followed, except not a single person from the previous session showed up for this session.

They did the yexact same procedure as the first time...only this time the sighkicks were much more tense...In fact one lady left the house and went home (SAid she felt like she was being pushed out of the house) the other two were really suprised at this...go figure.

So believe it or not, they found the dark man again...and then spent about 30 minutes describing Clockhead...said that one was something to watch out for...MOre of a poltergeist than a friendly spirit. They all were kind of afraid of it.

About this time, DS(2) found a flashlight on the floor and was playing with it...I said to him "Willy, show us the Ho-Ho-Ho"

So down the stairs we went...8 people following this little boy with a flashlight. He went to the furnace room and said "He's hiding in der" the people were just shocked...they asked him "Where does the ho-ho-ho go when you see him" will then shined the light across the ceiling then over to a small hole in the wall that allows you to see into their downstairs playroom.

willy says "He goes true here" then he ran out of the room and went to the playroom and said "Up There" pointing to the ceiling.

The Hunters were astonished...TBH..so was I.

We all go back upstairs...

Then listen to a few voice recordings...about 4 of them only one was really clear...and it was kinda frightening. It was a male voice...kinda gravely saying "Get your *** out" this occured about 5 minutes before the one lady left.

They then burned some sage...and made some pronouncements and then left...saying we shouldn't have any more problems.

They were somewhat wrong. The girl isn;t scared of clockhead anymore...and the Son loves to go play in the basement with his "Friend". And lights burn out...sounds are heard...things get moved...the dog still tries to paly with air.

All in all, we've kinda got used to the events.

Do what happened?

Well...the boy was seeing something in the basement...he called it the "Ho-Ho-Ho" No idea why...but he was contantly chasing this thing around with a flashlight. It was kinda cute at first...but more creepy later.

And again...I'm a hardcore Skeptic...If I can't quantify things...they aren't factual...same with my wife. So living in this house has really challenged our worldview so to speak.

I'm a skeptic too but past events have caused me to be open-minded. There will always be trickery around which is why I appreciate first hand accounts so much. Thanks for the detail.

Wow Explodo, what a story. I don't think I could live in a house like that. I would be to paranoid, especially since clockhead showed up. No thanks. When I hear things go bump in the night, I sleep much better blaming it on the house settling or the frig kicking on or something. I don't need to KNOW that it is a spirit. :rotfl:

WOW it sounds like the land might be haunted not the house per say ...I would LOVE to be there...:lovestruc

Like cheermom brought up, have you ever done research into the history of your property? Owners?

yeah that is a good idea ...i know someone that lived in there house for years and then all of a sudden there was a car accident and then bam things started happening in their house...but it was weird b/c the ghosts they would see was like only part of them like their feet were gone ..come to find out like 50 year before that there was a bad car accident happened the people died so the new accident woke them up...

a friend of mine had a trailer on some land she bought which is the path the confederate solders marched on their way to battle of Prairie Grove..anyway she didn't know that till she started seeing soldier ghosts in her house but it was like they were chopped off at the knees and they were just walking from one end to the other...she started looking up the history and that is what she found ..so all they were doing is marching and marching over and over on their way to the battle...it creeped her out so much she sold it and moved...

The Investigator folks did.

In was an indian encampment until Swede's used the area as a logging camp. After the turn of the century it was farm fields. then in the late 90's they build our orignal house.

Ooooh! That house haunting is a bit creepy, but oh so interesting. I've heard that kids are more open to the idea of "spirits" even though they may always be around us. I knew a family up in Michigan who's house was built on Indian burial ground and there were always weird things going on, but the daugher used to have a lot of "friends" and would know things that no child of her age should know. I guess some of her friends had names and they looked into the history of it and found people who had died by those names. They also had pictures and laid out a bunch of photos and the girl went through and picked out her friends and lo and behold, the names matched, but they had died like 70 years earlier. Creepy stuff, but I don't think it would be bad if the spirits are good. I just don't want to hear them talking to me.

Before we bought our house, for three months, the woman who owned it fixed it up with her DH and her father.

The day before we closed, the father passed away.

At closing, the woman went on and on and on about THIS and THAT that her dad had fixed up, and she REALLY focused on the pendant light in the kitchen that her dad picked out that she LOVED!

I HATED it.

MY dad came and replaced it a couple weeks ago.

Ever since then, every night, I feel like I am being watched, and the house creaks, squeaks and pops in the night. The LOUDEST noises.

I swear that old man is haunting me for taking down that pendant! :rotfl:

Ooooh! You have upset the ghost of the old man! Did the pendant get thrown out? If not, can you hang it somewhere less noticeable, like the garage or shed? Maybe things will stop being creepy.
