I don't know if this is a dumb question, but is there outdoor seating at the H&V to see the parade?

There are tables on the porch area in front of H&V because we sat there while we waited to be called for our table inside. Nobody was eating outside, but there are tables & chairs.

I'm not sure if you can eat outside or not, and I'm also not sure if you can see the parade from there because we always watch the parade from over near Star Tours.

I have never seen the porch used for anything but waiting for seating at H&V.
each time I am at H&V awaiting my seating time, I am usually watching the parade. The porch is a fantastic viewing area as you can actually seen the parade coming and going. Coming from the starting position and making the right hand turn down the main thoroughfare to where the parade ends.
In fact it is probably the best area for viewing as it is elevated and you are able to see over the heads of the people lined up on the street.

I know this wasn't your question, but we decided to eat here because of the Fantastic show package that was offered. Well the show it turns out was cancelled due to a mechanical problem. We decided to eat here anyway and we were very disappointed in the food selection/items. We even went to the kids section to try and find something else to eat. The variety for adults, just was not there. I would have preferred eating at one of the other restaurants offered and if we had to pay extra would have gladly done so. We did have the Meal Package or I would have been very unhappy, spending $90.00 (for the three adults). Sorry JMO

We ate here on Friday night and IMO it was truly awful. The selections were not good, the food, other than the mashed potatoes, did not taste good, even the Flank Steak (that nights "carving station") tasted funny. The only good thing to eat, was the soft serve ice cream and toppings.
I was truly disappointed in this, our worst meal of the trip. We will not return for any reason.

We found H&V to just be okay. Not great, not terrible. We prefer MM with the FDP, but they're booked, and there's nothing at the Brown Derby that I'd eat, so it's off to H&V again unless there's a cancellation. :)
