about what time have they been letting people in on a regular 9:00 a.m. opening day??

Went went twice during the week of March 16 and it didn't open more than 5 minutes early

We were there one morning during Easter weekend. No early EMH and it opened right on time at 8am. Sometimes they open the parks a little early, but I wouldn't count on it

It opened early twice when I was there in October... No actual 'rope drop' though which I thought was weird, I liked how they used to stop you after you walked in at a rope and have a little openeing ceremony

Ask again next week. It's been opening at 8 the past two weeks for Easter vacation....

Today we had an 8 AM H and V. Big priority was Jedi training morning spot, and our nice server sent over some one "with more experience" in a blue shirt to talk to me about it after I asked her about rope drop. She assured me they would not drop the rope early since it wasn't a high crowd day, and that they hadn't all week.

I kept watching, because I was a little worried. I saw people start walking past the restaurant to the inside "rope" at 8:45 or 8:50.

I left to go wait at that spot while DH and DS waited for one last autograph. I guess the lady saw me leave, and she graciously pulled the character aside before he went to sing so my son could meet him and then get to sign ups.

They opened early this past week when I was there. Not exactly sure how early it was, but it was before the official time of 8:00.
