Hollywood Studios Shows - what time to arrive?

I'm at WDW right now and will be going to HS on Friday. How early should we arrive at shows? What if we have FP+?

And for what it's worth, this site along with TouringPlans.com made our first two days here awesome. With MK at a level 9 crowd level we road a ton of rides and our longest wait was about 30 minutes, and that was to meet Gaston.

Don't know about the show time, Frozen I presume. It's most likely about 15-20 minutes before park opening. DHS usually opens at 8 or 9am. We love Touring Plans too

You also asked, what about if you have FP+? If you have a FP, it gives you a window of time. For example, it may say 10:20-10:50 for an 11 am show. Show up by the end of that window, and you're supposed to be good. There have certainly been stories where stand-by was let in early and space ran out for FP holders, but that is a mistake by the CMs. If that happens and you complain to guest services about it after the fact, they may give you 1 or 2 extra FPs.

I'm just so confused because touring plans has us arriving at shows 15 minutes early. Trying to figure out tomorrow's plans!!

We were there last week, pretty good crowds. Except Frozen or Fantasmic, just show up about 10-15 minutes before unless you want a front area seat. We walked up 5 minutes before Beauty and the Beast to get out of the sun with no problem.

Thanks! And for anyone who is curious, we arrived at shows about 15-20 minutes early and were fine. Sadly we missed Fantasmic due to weather, so I don't know how that would have worked.
