Hollywood Studios morning schedule, too ambitious?

Just looking for some critique on a Hollywood Studious morning plan. I'm thinking of rope dropping a character as we have a 5 year old and will be focusing on characters/shows and only Toy Story and Star Tours as rides.

9:00 AM: Rope drop Chewbacca M&G
9:30 AM: Star Tours
10:00 AM: Toy Story Mania with 1st Fastpass
10:30 AM: Buzz and Woody M&G
11:00 AM: Head to Frozen Sing Along for 11:30 showing with 2nd Fastpass
11:45 AM: Star Tours with 3rd Fastpass

Most of the shows appear to start around noon in late August, so wanted to have rides done by then (unless 4th fastpass opens up for another Star Tours?), even then would try to schedule for later in day. Also wanted indoor shows in afternoon anyway with heat.

Is this morning too ambitious time wise?

Thanks!

P.S. We'll have a second day at HS, and will probably do the exact same morning except replacing Chewy with Olaf. That should be easier anyway with Olaf near Star Tours (from what I can tell). Would rather only ride Toy Story once instead of rope dropping it, using the rope drops to save on character lines (obviously)

I don't think it's too ambitious, but it seems like lines at the Chewy/ Olaf M&G aren't that bad in general (although who knows what will happen in august!) I'd go for the double TSMM at RD at least one of the days. My kids were 3 and 5 the last time we were there and they couldn't get enough of TSMM

You don't say when you will be there, so it is unclear if you will be dealing with summer crowds or off season crowds. As long as the Frozen Sing Along starts at 11:30, this is doable, but not necessarily at the exact times you state. For example, even if the Star Tours line is only a 10 minute wait at 9:30 (which isn' an unreasonable assumption), it might take you longer than 30 minutes to wait in that line, ride the attraction, walk out of the gift shop/exit, and make your way over to TSMM. So you may not get to TSMM at 10:00, but you won't be too far behind that schedule. Likewise, even with a FP, it can take more than 20 minutes to wait in line and complete your ride on TSMM. At popular attractions that load slowly, a FP doesn't guarantee that you will walk straight on to the ride. There is always some wait involved. So my guess is that you will be a little bit "behind schedule" according to your guesstimates, but should still make it over to the Sing Along in time to see the 11:30 show. And as long as your 3rd FP starts at 11:45, you will easily make it to Star Tours during its window. Since you have built in 30 minutes to get from Buzz and Woody over to the Sing Along theater, and in reality it will take you all of 2 minutes, whatever time you lost up to that point you will gain back between 11:00 and 11:30.

Agree with JimmyV. I'd give yourself more of a buffer for ride times. And IMO, I think you'd be calling it close to make any kind of show time at 12pm.

We go end of Aug. or first week of Sept., so low crowds and I don't think there's any way OP would be making a noon show (no idea if OP planning to or not). I'd say you'd be pushing it for a 12:30 show.

Going late August, 27th in particular, a saturday.

I didn't mean we'd do a show at noon, will probably eat around noon and switch to shows in afternoon.

Understand about the ride buffer, thanks.

Yes, we did not plan on doing a show at noon. I just meant we'd start hitting shows and only shows after 12.

Not ambitious at all. As others have said it's a bit tight if things go south (long lines at Star Tours or the M&Gs) but it looks entirely doable to me and you can easily skip the first Star Tours if the wait time is too high or the Chewy M&G goes long and maybe flip the Buzz and Woody with the TSMM ride if the M&G line looks good.

Doable, but you'll need everything to go smoothly and keep a pretty brisk pace.

You won't make Star Tours at 11:45 if you see the 11:30 Frozen show. The Frozen singalong lasts 30 minutes.
