Hollywood Studio's FP help needed

We will be visiting Hollywood Studio's on March 10th. As of now, we have the following Fast Passes:

9:30-10:30 Toy Story Mania
10:30-10:50 Beauty and the Beast Show
11:35-11:50 Disney Junior Show

Unable to get a FP for Slink Dog Dash. What do you think the chances are that we are able to get a FP later in the day?

Slim to none, unfortunately. Your best bet is to go at rope drop and ride it then. I waited maybe 5 minutes for it at rope drop a couple of weeks ago.

That is Not bad at all!!! We are going to try that and hope we have a short wait. Then we can head right to TSM.

That sounds like a good plan! If you're going for rope drop, you might also consider trying to get into a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance.

I need to do some research into this! Does a boarding group for this ride impact Fastpasses at all?

I was able to get slinky dog FP for 4 while we were at HS last year, so there is always a chance. People change their plans all the time. Just keep checking and something will most likely pop up eventually.

Nope - boarding group is in addition to fastpasses--no effect whatsoever.

Watch for park opening to change from 9am to 8am and possibly even 7am. This will probably happen in early February.

THEN...after that, keep watching for the next several days for FPs for Slinky to suddenly become available for 8-9am (and possibly 7-8am), and grab them!

follow the march disney hours group on here and look for changes in hours . I think they normally change the hours around the 15th the month before . there is often extra fastpass in morning and also with people moving there FP up later ones pop up

I would suggest if you are not morning people that getting in line 5 minutes before the park closes is your best strategy vs Rope Drop. Right now Rope Drop is slammed due to Rise of the Resistance, a situation that will likely compound when Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens a few days before your visit. By the time everyone who rope drops is in line for SDD, the line can easily top an hour. You’ll need to be to DHS at least an hour and fifteen minutes before park opening if you rope drop to avoid ending up in the back of a really long line.

Whereas if you get in line right before the park closes you’ll probably wait less than 30 minutes.
