Hollywood Studios Crowds at Night?

Does the HS crowd tend to thin out later in the day? I know some people look at the park as a half-day trip and then head to the other parks. I did that last year and many others I have spoken to do the same.

But, I'll be there on November 14th and have Fast Passes scheduled throughout the day (Little Mermaid 11:45 - 12:45, Toy Story Mania 2:30 - 3:30 and Star Tours 3:30 - 4:30) and dining reservations (Sci-Fi Diner 1:25pm and Oga's Cantina 5:10pm). So, by the time I finish up and leave Oga's, I'm assuming it will be somewhere around or after 6pm, later than I've ever been before. Does HS see a significant decrease in crowds later in the day? I don't have Fast Passes for ToT, RnR Coaster or Slinky Dog. Any chance those line drop down to the 30 minutes range?

Following bc we will be there the same day. I couldn’t get a SDD fast pass so I’m wondering the same

It’d be better if that night had a 10pm closing instead of the currently posted 9pm. But the park does free up quite a bit late day as people head back to their resort/homes, F!, or SWaGS.

I’d say your best bet is in the last hour or so before closing. May have to pick your shots depending on your timing.

If Magic Kingdom is closing early for MVMCP, then crowds might not thin out as much as a night with no party at MK.
